well, she hit 26 more past the record, and they just went back to back world champs, jocy hit a total of 8 home runs in those 2 world series. and she may just jumpstart a professional league with her talent.
Last week at Canada Cup, I was just steps away from her by dug out as my daughter was the bat girl for Chinese Taipei, but I didn’t realize she was a big deal. That game with Chinese Taipei, she had 1 grand slam and two 3-run home runs, I realized wow this young lady was somebody. She is the first and only player I’ve ever seen who can hit the ball over the fence of the ball park! Totally insane and it subverted my perception of the limits of softball.

Amazing baseball player beautiful person both inside and out. Ill definitely be paying more attention to NCAA Women's baseball after watching this story. Side note Jocelyn has to be on the next ESPN body issue

Yall forgot to mention she is a state champion wrestler. Won it her sophmore year at kahuku then focused on softball after transfering to campbell high school
I would truly encourage her to use and build on that skill along with the others needed to cross over into MMA, with the following, backing she build from the diamond she can really make some serious money if she can cut it and sign with the UFC. Something softball won’t be able to give any of its athletes.

Everyone ats like she is Babe ruth, She is a great hitter but think about they play in fields the size of little league fields, With pitches at 70 mph, You can stick the bat out and almost hit one out.

There is a professional league. There are quite a few teams but Jocelyn has not announced if she is going pro or not

It’s fast pitch softball because that is what the high school feeder system provides in numbers for colleges to build their teams off of. Same reason they don’t play 8 man football in college, yeah there are some 8 man football teams but not enough to make it a sanctioned ncaa sport. The rules to qualify a sport to be sanctioned by NCAA is quite vigorous but there are always emerging sports they are looking to test for participation.
Hitting on a field smaller then 12 years old Boys play on? That's how.
