Goodbye Oak Tree

This oak tree was just over the property line at my parent's house and was a giant fixture in my memories of growing up there. It's actually a cluster of three trees twisted together at the base and spreading apart higher up. A few weeks ago one of those trunks fell in my parent's back yard in the middle of the night. Since then the new neighbors in the house in the video decided to take down the remaining trees as they were concerned about them falling on their house. Sad to see what appears to be a healthy tree come down. Even worse was most of the wood was simply run through a very large chipper. Goodbye Oak Tree, you will always be part of my childhood memories.
