Jess what means beginning? Dave changed on every DM album, from early 80s to early 90s, he was looking for real himself but no trace of mind wickness in my opinion. Never except when he lost control just after SOFAD
There´s nothing incredible here. Kids go to school acting normal though they´re with parents at home being murderous/suicidal or come from school not letting it show other kids are bullying them to the brink of a suicide. People go to work, pay taxes to governments enslaving them, bullying them, lying all the way from school to evening news about everything yet they behave as if its all normal and as it should be. Nothing incredible with Dave behaving normal here. Nothing whatsoever.
So glad this phase ended in a better way than many others. This man is so happy and sweet and thoughtful and his songwriting had grown tremendously: it was 11 years after this video before his first song with the band was released. He had so much more to do but was so sad and isolated he didn't see that at the time. He needed a hug and some sincere love, so glad he emerged from all this. I'm very sorry he has had to endure almost three decades of interviewers dwelling on this period, but his story is very inspiring and we're all just thankful he's been around since this time.
Funny, when LeBoef or however you spell it was younger, he could have done Dave in a biopic. Never cared for Shia, but love Depeche: for me to think so, must have meant something haha. Glad to hear someone else say so.

En las fotos promocionales de Memento Mori ya la tiene de nuevo, y la usó en Agosto pasado en un show; no se sabe cómo la recuperó. La mujer del video es Karen Dusenbery, la diseñadora de dicha chaqueta y del vestuario que le Dave usó en Devotional Tour.
