Such a shame that with the millions of people around the world that professed to love him, he didn't have anyone CLOSE to him that DID love him enough to know when he was getting into drug trouble and stop him. Where the hell was Jon? Even if you don't love someone any more, if you EVER loved them you need to be there for them when they START to fall. The band was so jealous of him that they let him fall, which destroyed C.C.

Poor George I feel bad for the press being nasty to him even prior to the drug thing. If I were around back then, I would've given him a big hug. Good on you George for getting through it.

Disappointing is he wasn't allowed in line to meet Princess di and called a peasant. I believe she talked to George afterward.
