I put a bag out about 3 weeks ago. I have a lush thick dark green carpet! Definitely the greenest in the subdivision

I put out one low application of DGL a few weeks ago and i have the best lawn in the neighborhood.

Stockbridge here, working on my ugly lawn! Weeds are dying, put down humichar and fertilizer. Now it’s time for DGL! I’ve done Doc’s system before and it works. I’m about to have a beautiful lawn this summer.
Cumming here - despite following the split program for pre-emergent, the Poa Annua was brutal in my backyard this spring. However the rest of the lawn is coming in a beautiful green using the PGF ferts. Got a DGL bag to throw down very soon!!
Johns creek here, just had fescue sod installed in the back yard where it’s pretty shady. Last year we had zoysia Zeon sod installed in the front yard. Just ordered some DGL to give it some much needed nutrients. Plan on seeding side yard area with Bermuda seed after I scarify the area.
Roswell….I just did “curtain of death” a few weeks ago, put out PFG w/humichar last week and going in with super juice this week. I seriously think I’ve got no grass to grow though. I don’t think we killed everything either. Should I do another round of death or seed with good seed? And my front yard is 11k sq ft. 😂

Doc, I moved into a home 6 yrs ago with a fescue lawn in Missouri zone 6a. I have a neighborhood Greenspace on one side that HOA doesn’t take care of other than mow. My lawn has quite a bit of Poa Annua in it from the Greenspace. I’ve been core aerating & overseeing with Barenbrug RTF the last 3 yrs & putting down a fall pre-emergent . I would like to see you do a video on how to kill & control Poa Annua in a fescue lawn. HELP!

In my hybrid Bermuda lawn I have patches of common Bermuda grass and a large leaf Zosia that were most likely planted from seed when workmen made lawn repairs. They both look ugly next to the hybrid Bermuda, but the common Bermuda I could see blending somewhat. My neighbor who has a lot of shade in his yard, had the Bermuda removed and a very fine blade Zosia sod put down, it looks very similar to hybrid Bermuda. Of course, the problem with mixing grass types is getting patchy areas, so it must take a constant effort to keep them blended and looking good.
Just killed all front yard full of weeds and hell knows what else, removed all dead material to dirt. Will be seeding Bermuda 77, got everything you thought me. Planing to grow best lawn on the block. I’m obsessed now them weeds got to me. This is my new hobby for sure. Thank you for sharing the knowledge. Just subbed.

Your last comment was a lesson for me . I got into the lawn game late last year and I believe I put down green shocker to heavily and when it was to hot/dry out. Lawn burn pushed me away but I’m back smarter 😂
Doc, has DGL now replaced your Super Juice or could we use it in conjunction with PGF Complete, DGL and Super Juice to revitalize our lawns? Having the trees taken down along with having the stumps and roots ground and removed my lawn is now in distress but I have been applying 16-4-8 once a month since March and have just started applying Super Juice.

Doc, I need to ask, can the Bermuda Lawn Guide be used on a Centipede lawn as well? My Centipede lawn has been struggling for 3 yrs with drainage problems, fungus, and mole crickets. I took care of those issues, now I need to get my green lawn back. TY!

@Doc. I live in Georgia and have Bermuda Grass. I put down PGF Complete and some Weed control 2 or 3 weeks ago. The grass is growing however I have some spots and crab grass. I ordered some DGL. Should I put down DGL and some grass seeds? What do I do about the crabgrass?
I put down a slow release 30-0-3 a week ago at 1lb per 1000sf. When would be smart to do another fert application and what kind?

Majority of my DGL survived the rain deluge last weekend and just mowed today, Wednesday. I do have a few areas where perhaps it ran off. Should I reapply those areas with DGL or wait 10 days or so?

Hey Doc. I just ordered Dirt Booster+ and Super Juice. I'm going to be laying down new St. Augustine sod. I'm going to laying some good top soil and mixing in the Dirt Booster+ as a base so the sod roots have immediate access to the nutrients. How long after the sod has been laid can I apply the Super Juice? Is there such a thing as to much nutrients? Thanks.

Calculate how many # of N you’re putting down per 1k. Typical Bermuda lawn needs 3-5# of N per 1k for the whole growing season (late spring - early fall).
What do you recommend for those that can’t get duocide in California

Bermuda grass, ga. Is it better to blow the cut grass clipping or rake it up. Will blowing clipping spread weeds back on the lawn if you trying to get all the weeds out forever.😮😮😮

We have drench that basically runs on the side of our house to our neighbors backyard drain to our front sidewalk. We live on an incline.

I have several big patches where only tiny bermuda sprouts are present while the rest of the lawn are already 1 inch tall, which makes the patches more like bare areas looking from the top. Is this something to concern about? Can I do something to fix them? I thought I probably put down too much weed killer while controlling the poa annua in Feburary/March when the bermua was still under dormant.
Seems early for the cicada drone but I guess we didn't have much of a winter. I bet a cicada popper on the pond would drive the bass nuts.

Doc my two neighbors that are side by side of me do not treat their lawn for weeds or apply any pre emergent. I have been struggling with poa really bad. If i add some pre emergent every 60 days on the lawn to help control that, will it affect my bermuda grass?
Same situation for me also. I spread my pre emergent twice in the early spring and maybe in August for fall weed control. Spread your treatments a few feet into your neighbors lawn also.
I cut my grass low and sprayed image and now it seems my Bermuda is having trouble coming back, I probably sprayed to much weed killer. Would you suggest reseeding or just humor and super juice for awhile . The lawn seems thirsty, I water every evening

Can you put down grass seeds without covering it up?
Yes, as long as you don't let them go dry. The main purpose of putting down a little straw is to help shade the ground and keep the seedlings from drying out as quickly, and also to help keep the seeds from floating away when it rains. If you keep them watered enough they should germinate just fine.

Where can I buy zoysia zeon seed?
Unfortunately Zeon isn’t available as a seed, only sod. Just has Zeon installed in March and looked for seed in case I needed to fill any areas that didn’t take. After some searching online found it’s only available as sod.
Seems like Bermuda is the grass that if you can’t beat it just go with it and joint it.
