What if you don't have a digital pressure gauge on your press? I just have a knob to turn. How do you figure out how much pressure to use? Trial and error? Also, I have more of a problem with press lines from the sub paper (even with torn edges) than the actual press platen.
You loosen the knob as much as you can then do one turn, that would be light pressure, and continue until it takes two hands to close, then that is a hard pressure.
I'm having this same issue with the paper lines. It's sooo annoying. I tried to iron it out, which helps a tiny bit, but it's not enough to eliminate the lines. I tried put it on the heat press after, but that did not help. Grrr!
Love the shirt 🙌. WE THE PEOPLE!

Any recommendations if your lines are the outline of your pressing surface? Maybe my pressure is too tight
Great Video.. What is the name of the spray that you are using to not use tape.
I get the press marks from the top platen too, along with the paper mark. even with the light pressure. How to get rid of these?
I will have to try that. Right now I have a 500 shirt two-sided job so buying that much parchment paper will probably make me go broke
I get tape marks. I don't see complaints about that. Any suggestions? Tks
Use amber heat tape, it doesn't leave tape marks.
there are many different 3m spray which one did you use?
How about uses multiple papers. Like if you have 15x15 press and trying to print bigger and you use more than 1 paper. Thanks in advance
Thank you, it worked for me. Going to try more shirts.
Awesome Video. Very Helpful
So, the second round at 6 seconds. When you say tighten it, that’s making it have heavier pressure or lighter pressure? Thanks !
Slightly heavier pressure, if the lines are still there tighten it a little more and repeat. The key is to do it while it is still hot.
Do you put parchment paper between the shirt too
No. I don't, but if it is really thin, I do thread it.
Great Video. Thank you for the help.
what did you spray the ''sublimation'' with?
It looked like it was adhesive so it doesn't shift
what spray did you use?
I use ProSpray or 3M spray
Thanks for the video.
Would it work even though I made the shirts a few days ago? Do I have to do it right after I press?
Hi Cheryl. where do you get that size parchment from please
I got it from Amazon, I believe they are 18 x 24 sheets.
Wish you would have done a darker shirt and shown the lines.
Wish you had shown the press marks first.
Buddy, I was trying to make a quick video so that I could do the Live show I had coming up.
Buddy are you in my group Sublimation for Beginners and Beyond? If not, please join, a lot more videos in there.
I love that first T-shirt, where'd you get it?
It's Vapor so probably Conde, JPP or Coastal.
Thanks
Great Video
Will butcher paper work? Or does it have to be parchment paper?
butcher paper will work
