This randomly came up on my feed and I'm so glad it did. I'm newish to Ableton and videos like this are a massive eye opener. Subscribed and will be binge watching all of these videos man!
Thank you so much Brandon! : ) Massive chunks of knowledge and inspiration for a newbie like me. And sick montage, too! You should have much more subscribers in no time.
@@braugustus I come mainly from the dnb background, since I've been spinning it for the last... ages. But unfortunately I want to "make" too many genres because I love all of them (dnb, breaks, tech house, bass house, uk garage + 2step) :D So now I am on the stage where I am binge-watching all the vids that appeal to me, like yours for example. Getting Arturia Minilab 3 tomorrow and connecting it to my MBP M1, finally, untill I am too old : )
@@adorableandray nice, I’ve got an m1 too. I get what you mean about all the different genres. I guess it makes sense to limit them at the start so people can define you. And branch out later. But that’s just one way to do it.
I learnt a lot from this, love your vocal manipulation which is a big part of garage. Im still learning and getting stuck in the loop phase, writing a hook im fine with but turning that into a full arrangement is tough!!
@@TheOuterReachesTV thanks for watching. I feel you. I don’t really follow a set path each time. I might do half of one sound then jump to another. Or I might be arranging in my head as I go.
@@zechs5079 Yeah, took ages to find the right drum pattern. I just re-uploaded the file because it disappeared somehow. Email me if you have any more problems.

Nice work man! Where are those vocals from?
Thanks. They’re from Splice.
these videos are really cool, but its hard to follow with all of the camera cuts and not showing the full process
I feel you, I'm working on a new style shortly.

Theyre not ukg artists by anybodys definition wtf
Yeah the vocal samples are American, but the beat is defo UK. I like the contrast.
