I love the explanation of power inherent in the symbolism of wings on the angels that came to the calling of the prophet Isaiah. They speak to me. Let me explain how I see it: Wings which covering his face… I see as those that go before us as examples, from the missionaries that taught my family, my mother who to me was an angel, my seminary teacher, stake president who set me apart for my mission, the prophets and the hero's I have met in the scriptures, the living prophets, even in the pandemic and the opening up of these amazing podcasts and videos from lecturers and broadcasters, my church leaders, all of whom are patterned after the ultimate one Christ.
The wings that cover his feet.... The wings that give me power to do.... My personal study and acts all of them culminating on the ordinances and covenants and the power to keep them…
Then the wings that flew.... The last ones if I follow the pattern have the power to fly me into the presence of God Himself

Wow, I always enjoy your presentations Sister Wilson. I think your study notes are amazing, it definitely is helping me understand the book of Isaiah. Isaiah was a Prophet I tended to skip because I found it challenging to try to understand his words. But reading it in conjunction with these videos and suggested resources is making things clear for me. Old things are made new, and a Prophet that was always in the back of my mind has now come to the forefront ❤️.

I have found the Book of Mormon Institute Manual explanations ot the Isaiah chapters the best clarification as to what Isaiah is preaching and teaching. Before that to be honest l found it a real struggle. God bless. So grateful for your insights and commentaries. Great job.🙏☺️

Sister Lynne Hilton Wilson mentioned the word delicious which is the same word that Lehi’s family in describing the fruit of the Tree of Life as did Eve in the Garden and I agree with Sister Hilton Wilson yes Delicious. I have had a few pieces of dried apricot very delicious the partaking of the Lords word is delicious. When something is delicious we want more that’s the feeling I have felt over the years of my following and finding. Thank you Sister Hilton Wilson 😀

Is there a copy of historical leaders and geography at Isaiah's time like you mentioned?

In my mind, I'm remembering something about Moses and why he was slow of speech. Is there a connection to be made here with Isaiah? I know Moses was a baby when something happened with him. I'm going to have to reread a few things to get it straight in my mind.
