I started hearing this song over and over on the radio as I prepared for my surgery. My life has changed so much since I left my job and my own home for the surgery and haven’t been to return to either yet. I haven’t heard this song as much but it’s something I do come to at times and the line about how the devil can’t take the church out or me hits home. I am so blessed I figured out the name so I could watch it on TH-cam any time I need it.

Just found this song today! 🙌! My grandparents where christian missionaries. Up and down the East coast. Every summer we were counting change on the pew, to get food for the road.. This touches home.. lots of ups and downs since then. My grandparents adopted a family in Guadamala & was on a mission with other missionaries when they had to go on a one way mtn road. They where in a head on with a bus. My grandpa died instantly and my grandma had 77 stitches in her face and had teeth work done. Everyone on the bus.. stole everything. All the toys for the church, the coat off his back and his Bible. It took me yrs to understand that it wasn’t personal and they needed it more. Keep singing chica 💕

This song is so special to me. I did not grow up in a Christian home so when my husband and I found out we would be parents, we decided to homeschool and raise our daughter in a Christian home, so my daughter was exposed to the Gospel at home, at church and at school. That said, this song reminds me of when my daughter, Audrey, gave her heart to Jesus. She was 7 and it was Easter Sunday. She is now an adult who continues to live for Jesus!

I started to put him under the water, and just then a whirl come from the heavens above, and here come that Light, shining down.
Hundreds and hundreds of people on the bank, right at two o’clock in the afternoon, in June, and It hung right over where I was at.
A Voice spoke from there, and said, “As John the Baptist was sent for the forerunner of the first coming of Christ, you’ve got a Message that will bring forth the forerunning of the Second Coming of Christ.”
And it liked to scared me to death, and I went back, and all the people there, the foundry men and all them, the druggist, and all of them on the bank.
I had baptized about two or three hundred that afternoon, and when they taken me out, pulled me out of the water, the deacons and so forth went up, they asked me, said, “What did that Light mean?”
A big group of colored people from the Gilt Edge Baptist church and the Lone Star church down there, and many of those was down there, they begin screaming when they saw that happen, people fainted.
A girl I tried to get out of a boat there, sitting there with a swimming suit on, a Sunday school teacher in a church, and I said, “Won’t you get out, Margie?”
She said, “Billy, I don’t have to get out.” I said, “That’s right, you don’t have to, but I’d have enough respects for the Gospel to get out where I’m baptizing.”
She said, “I don’t have to.” And when she was setting there, snickering and laughing at me baptizing, ’cause she didn’t believe in baptizing, so then when the Angel of the Lord come down she pitched forward in the boat.
Today the girl’s in the insane institution. So you just can’t play with God. See? Now, later, a beautiful girl, went to drinking later on, was hit with a bottle, of beer bottle, cut all of her face down. Oh, a horrible-looking person! And there that happened.”

This is my testimony! Thank you for putting our testimonies into song. I cry every time I hear this song and I get hyped up to share the gospel at the same time. I'm so thankful for my grandparents who took me to church where I developed a love for Sunday school. Things have changed and I now love a good sermon. I'm the one in the crowd on my feet saying "preach pastor."

Gospel! The good news about Jesus Christ and salvation from judgment on our sins. Jesus dined with His disciples; Mark 14:22-25, the night before He went to the cross.
Jesus and His disciples were eating a Passover meal together at the Last Supper. After partaking of bread and wine (His body and His blood) , the Bible mentions the hymn Jesus sang with His disciples. “And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives” Mark 14:26. God knew your faithful praise ministry before the world was made! Ephesians 1:1-14. Prayer goes out for you and those here. A Crown in Heaven awaits all who share the Gospel of Jesus Christ that saves a soul. ( see"JESUS SAVES") 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20; Philippians 4:1. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek".
This praise resounds throughout the earth: "Jesus Christ is Lord and God. Only He saves". He testified: ''I and my Father are One" John 10:30
2 Samuel chapter 22:verse 50 "Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, out of the countries, and I will praise your name."
JESUS SAVES
God the Son (Jesus Christ) has given us the gospel to share with the world. Mark 16:15: "And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
How can we hear it? Scripture tells us. Romans 10:17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5. God the Holy Spirit teaches through the Word of God in the Bible. The word of God is the sword of God the Holy Spirit in us. This is our weapon from God. Ephesians 6:10-18.
The Birth of Jesus Christ
Isaiah 7: 14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, finally died (John 19:30; Luke 23:46 ) and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day ! "HE IS RISEN" Matthew 28: 6.
Isaiah 53:" 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." - IT IS FOUNDED UPON GOD'S LOVE FOR MAN AND WOMAN HE CREATED
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Matthew 26: 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (the life is in the blood. He had to pay with His life)

BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding of His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above.
WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH
Romans 10:
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE
Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21:8.

So first of all you, Anne, are my all time favorite Artist is the Christian music as of now and probably for a while..so saying that today (March 21) I was in class at my school and we were all done with work and stuff, so I decided to listen to some music. And i was there reading the words probably at some point singing out loud and I didn't know. Was at the stop light up from my house. Seen an old blue squar body going past. I thought to myself that looks just like the truck from this video. As he drove bye I was checking to see if it had square headlights. The exact moment I seen that it did this song came on the radio. The light turned green and I was cruising through my neighborhood exactly like the guy in the truck. 🙂🙂👍blasting the music!
