I use a cardboard box. Worked in the bike industry since 2003. Ive lost count how many bikes Ive seen broken from being in these bags. The airport staff just throw them like any other bag. With card boxes though they dont throw them as they treat them like TV'S etc.
@@CyclespeedTours Thsnk you. I have a hard case which is good but it does require taking the bars off and securing then to the forks/frame and puts a lot of strain on the DI2 cables. Thanks again.

I think you're right and it's a damn sight cheaper!
Great video mate. Well done.
Was a great trip. Pretty tired today.
Great format with neutral descents.
In some cases, yes, in others, it's nice to push a bit on the downhills.
Good riding! Yeah , the standard at those type of events is much higher than 10-15 years ago. Enjoy the experience
Everyone around me looked like a pro!!
Great video and great to meet you!
Thanks, and yes, was a pleasure! Until the next one, or in Mallorca.....? Happy to show anyone I met on the HR around this cycling paradise!
Get some Apple Air Tags for you luggage, relieves the stress!
Good tip! I did actually mean to put mine in, but forgot!
Great video. Thank You, Did you have to remove your rear deraillieur when packing your bike away?
No I didn't. It was fine, but I did think about it. I think it's reasonably well protected in that area.
