Today on the show, we have best-selling author and A Course in Miracles (ACIM) instructor David Hoffmeister.
David Hoffmeister began his journey to spiritual Enlightenment in 1986 when he encountered A Course in Miracles and recognized it as the tool he had been seeking for a radical transformation of his mind and perceptions. In the early years, David studied the Course with passionate intensity, often reading it for eight or more hours a day.
After two years of this study, David began to seek the company of other students of ACIM, attending as many as five groups a week. He was startled to find that a Voice was speaking through him with great authority, so many began referring their questions to him.
Among family members, friends, and teachers, David was always known for questioning everything rather than accepting conventional answers. Thus he was delighted to find in the Course support and encouragement from the voice of Jesus for his careful examination of every idea, belief, concept, and assumption in his mind. Jesus became David’s internal teacher, answering his every question, guiding him to hand over the day-to-day management of all relationships, circumstances, and events in his life, and providing inner discernment.
David and I discuss his journey, work with A Course in Miracles, nonduality, using movies to teach spirituality, and so much more. Enjoy!

David is the real deal.. l came across "D Hoff" 20 years ago after a NDE and my encounter with Jesus and his Course. The voice Dave was hearing was the same guiding my mind.. Forgiveness truly offers everything we ever wanted.

I have had the same experience with writing songs especially the lyrics…. I feel we are all channeling through not only art but also random acts of kindness etc. “nothing I have is truly mine”….. I take no credit for my creations, they come through me. 🙏🏻

A Course in Miracles is most amazing book. Divinely inspired/written through College professors who were not Spiritual. Amazing amazing book
However, the woman who channeled this ( her name escapes me @ the moment) did renounce this material on her deathbed.

This is one of my favorite interviews. D hoff is such an amazing teacher of ACIM. He has really integrated the lessons. I love his energy. Wonderful and engaging interview by Alex.
My own thoughts about separation is that people are really scared and when they find something that resonates with them, they latch on to that and feel safe in that environment just because there is so much unrest going on right now.

In 1986-1987 I too began my solo travels to the land of my birth, Jamaica.
I left Jamaica when I was 7 years old, returning age 25 yrs old; as a complete stranger.
I was totally living from hand to mouth and on the goodwill of strangers and a few family members.
GOD was, from time to time, clairaudiently reminding me that He was directing me.

what i find most helpful for my forgiveness practice with movies -- is to use the characters' egos and behaviors thereof -- as ways of observing my own (ego) reactions --this to me is "the" spiritual teaching that movies have to offer.

Once your conversation started I was hooked and just resonated with every word. And it put me back on track with the Truths you expounded in their beauty and purity. Wow! I needed to hear this! When I read people, spirit uses movies to convey lessons by recalling situations, storylines or messages imbedded in the story etc from movies I’ve watched lol I used to think it was funny but it always fit, and was on point, I had just never heard anyone else speak on it. 👏👌🙌 I understood that spirit used our Life experiences to recall and convey but it never occurred that watching movies and plays can also be experiences all their own. 😂
