man, not only is this one of the coolest designs i've seen, this is one of the most thoughtful product outline videos i've seen. Very clear, very thorough.
Dinner Party mode! YES! Love that part. For me, this *might* be the perfect pilot bag...will be tough to unseat the CTB20 I use currently in that mode...can't wait to find out. Great one guys!
I’ve also been waiting for you guys to make the perfect pilots bag! Looks like this will be it! Thank you @evergoods_ ! I’m looking forward to your review JB!
Not really my sort of bag, but love to see that you all continue to innovate and dream up new products! Hopefully, we can also get some continued updates on older bags. Would love mirrored versions of the CPL and CTB.
I absolutely love the design, but I think the strap needs to be amazing to justify it. Especially coming at 3lbs, it has to be comfortable enough to wear over long periods of time. Can’t wait to see reviews!
Are there any additional abrasion resistant features on the base? I'm thinking of scenarios where while commuting or travelling you need it rest it on rough surfaces, e.g., asphalt or concrete? Or surfaces that aren't clean, and so might be wet or have debris?
I said it in the comments of the short video from today, but now after watching this you guys should make a camera bag… This is so close to what I truly believe would be the best shoulder style camera camera bag on the market!!! The amount of materials would almost be the same if it were not quite so deep top to bottom, a few inches sorter left to right and a few inches added front to back a removable camera insert or maybe even some kind of fold away design like you did with the divider on this. Make the coffee bottle pockets a little thicker they could be lens slots… just kinda riffing here but I am sure you can see what I am describing. Now the only question is there any camera nerds inside the EG family that will help push this idea??? lol getting this bag and modding it to hold me over until EG makes my dreams come true!!!
Wish there is a tote version of this, i.e. having longer grab handle, so that it is more versatile. At 20l worth of gear, it unlikely someone will be carrying it for long with the current handles and will definitely sling it.
Shoulder strap on this and the Transit Duffel are so narrow and thin. Seeing as these bags are about 3lbs when empty, it would be nicer to have metal hooks and D-rings instead plastic quick release for the strap, and thicker wider padding, as thick as you'd find on a backpack or like on the Heilkon Text Urban Courier Bag, it will probably be more sweaty but if you wanted style you'd be carrying by hand anyway.
Really well done, EXCEPT, I could never buy a shoulder bag that forces me to use the strap it came with. I do think the folding corner design is cool, but not at the sacrifice of strap selection. Sew on a couple D rings and let me use any strap I want and I’m buying.
As much as I love Evergoods this doesn't do it for me as a briefcase. It doesnt look business to me. The handle and side flaps give it a hybrid messenger/duffel look
It's certainly different than your traditional leather briefcase, but if memory serves EG did a killer leather rendition of the Transit Duffel a couple months after the initial launch. I forget what the fabric's specs were but it I would watch out for that if matte black isn't your thing.
It's a more complicated design with the divider, so one would expect it to be more expensive to manufacture. The difference in material cost is probably negligible.

appreciate the support!
Who doesn't need a briefcase to carry a Martini cocktail set up?! :D Another great product guys, as always!
Dude…the design of the pocketing and other features is just sick…
You guys really went all out…
Very well thought out as ever. Looking forward to seeing a smaller shoulder bag from you guys.
PER-FECT for teachers... Wow! Thanks.
Every month you guys keep coming out with something amazing. Love it
just having some fun over here :)

Loving this. I was about to reach out about doing a tote / over the shoulder and this pops up. Instant buy. Keep up the great work Kevin!

CPL24 mirror, please!!!

Briefcases aren’t meant to be worn over long periods of time.
You know Evergoods have good taste when it's Roku they bring to the picnic 😜

Business meeting on the outside. Martini party on the inside.
This is really thoughtfully laid out and I really like the design. You guys are not making it easy for me to decide what to get at Evergoods lol
It’ll definitely fit an Old Fashioned setup if it’ll fit a martini setup. So it’s a win.

Completely agree
I need a Griffin version with an external water bottle holder and no velcro on the strap inside... Magnet maybe? Pretty great overall.
That down jacket? Is that a Patagonia ultra down hoody? Love the colour. Briefcase is cool too

It comes with a shoulder strap:). Handle carry or shoulder carry away. Cheers for the comment.
The typical height underneath the plane seat in front is 10-11 inches. The height of this is 12 inches. Might be a tight fit sitting vertically.
leaning towards buying this bag, what’s the max weight this bag can carry?
Please please waxed canvas version
I can see a velcro strap inside the bag, close to the zipper opening that you didnt explain. Whats it for?
Do you know if this fits in the economy flight sized carry on fitting tray?
What was that color on the cap2?🧐
how strong are the shoulder strap fastex buckles? What's the top load I can carry?
Always teasing us with that Signal Blue CAP2 😢

Nice design, would instantly buy it if it had a backpack mode
Nakamichi Dragon?

Also quick release clips for the strap is a deal breaker, don’t trust them for a second.

@@KelvinHew7 Yeah, if this gets released in waxed canvas. 🔥🔥
"PLASTIC" buckles -___-
What material would you have preferred?
@@TheseUncertainTimessteel D rings box stitched to 2” webbing that is a continuous piece all the way around the bag to the other side.
@@TheseUncertainTimes I would avoid using them completely and use carabiners insted. Knomo does that
For 229 😂 that's more expensive than the TD35😮
Hard pass.

BTW I love my TD35, man.
