My father in law wears Chelsea boots on the daily whether working (farmer) or going out for dinner with a pair of jeans. Super versatile! The suede option is amazing, adds texture and totally on trend. However, I still feel a classic leather will get you more miles.

Hello José I've a wing tip Chelsea boot & I totally agree with you.
Jose, one think you didn't touch on is a stylish pair of true winter boots for slushing around in the snow if you live in the snow belt. I live in mn and if I wore leather boots all winter I would be replacing them at least every year to every other year. I have a pair of sperry duck boots that get the job done and look great.

I purchased the brown leather Thursday boot shown in the video and recommend against them. Leather was stiff and it scuffs terribly. Allen Edmonds is much better in my opinion. It is a little more expensive but I got them on sale during Memorial Day. Best purchase ever. The leather is so soft and looks so good! For around $50 more I got a much better product.

You can really go for any style! Our boots are meant to dress up or down. You can start with the Chelsea as a staple style and build your wardrobe from there :) Hope this helps!

DjSeanTacos go with Thursday's natural captain to me those look good with dark and light denim and with any color chinos, the dark brown captains are nice too but don't look good with light wash denim or light color jeans

the Chukka boots are the best valuable boots among the 3 presented.....cause they are more affordable than the chelsea boots(especially those nice looking YSL...only God knows how far I'd be ready to go/do to get them) in addition of being more versatile and comfortable.

I have some grey suede brogue boots they look great with jeans or chinos where you can get a casual to smart casual look. Had several nice compliments on them.

You mention in a couple of videos that proper tailoring is a must when wearing boots. For those that don't wear skinny jeans or designer jeans, and like a more casual levi jean, what is the your opinion on the proper length if the jeans have a regular cut? The boots I wear are 6 inch suede chukka, Redwing 1907's, Nicks logger and White's Packers.

Jose, how can I take care of my suede boots so them doesn't become a stain mess? Maybe that could be a good ideia for a new video, because I believe many guys have the same problem. I love how suede looks, but it is a stain magnet.

Ordered a pair of leather scout boots in chocolate brown from them a while back, the quality was amazing, but didn't dig the style. Too wide/bulky for me. Ted Baker makes boots in similar price range and they are much more narrow if that's what you're into.

regarding the chelsea boot from thursday boots, is the ankle hole very narrow or really wide? I want to know because i prefer it to be small/narrow so when i put my pants over the ankle hole..the pants don't look wierd.

I'm looking to buy a pair of Thursday boots as my first pair of boots, but I'm torn between whether or not to get a leather or suede Captain/President boot.
This is probably not the forum but I love Timberlands. I've never worn a boot of any kind so I am unsure if sizing is the same as a regular shoe.

Get a impermeability spray. I don't know if you have that where you're from, but you can probably get that online. I have one of those and it works great on suede!
Ricardo Marques i live in greece..its not raining that much here so i can wear them but i dont like them to get wet..yeah generally i dont think its a good choice for winter!! the best boots for winter is definitely the leather ones..
