I kind of think the Simpsons will always go on in some form, even after the last season. Kind of like how the Muppets, Mickey Mouse, or Loony Tunes are always still around in some form. Maybe it will be a commercial, maybe it will be rebooted as one of those 3D animated kid cartoons, or maybe it will be a live mascot like you see at Disney World. Or maybe it will actually be a Simpsons costume walking around Disney World, since they own everything.
