The twentieth century is an era of revolution in everything. Science, arts, literature, technology. I believe it will be mentioned as the century of pivotal discovery in future.
Hello people! I put a considerable effort into selecting those books and make a video out of them with graphics and voice put together carefully. Let me know I feel for literature after you've seen it.
I never heard of it till I just watched this Video and you mentioned it in your Comment. What is it about? What country and language was it written in ?
I have read .. The Trial (Ghastly) Great Gatsby The Castle (Morbid) A Farewell To Arms (Wow) The Grapes of Wrath (dont read this) The Strange (brilliant in bits) 1984 The Catcher in the Rye (best book of the list?) Lolita (mental viagra yet beautiful) On The Road To Kill A Mocking Bird One Hundred Years of Solitude (you will forget your own name because of how many characters it has) The Color Purple (accessible) The Handmaid's Tale (paltry) The Remains of the Day (Brilliant, the author doesnt have any other book that holds this much sway) Disgrace (beautifully unsettling)
@@normanstallion847 Hey! Happy you replied. I just finished reading Mythos by Stephen Fry. Eye-opening and illuminating, it was. Do put up more videos soon.
I cringe every time I see The Handmaid's Tale on one of these lists. It's just a mediocre and unbelievable ripoff of 1984. When the histrionics produced by victim culture die out, this book will disappear from all of these lists.
Great work..beautiful photography..voice and background.Well Done,
Thank you. 🙂
Nice and clean. A good job. Those pictures make it more lively
Great work in terms of editing, photography, and especially the voice narration.

A nice, clean, and seamlessly smooth presentation
Nice and Smooth presentation Dear Sir 🙂
A very cool compilation and narration. Congrats!
I couldnt have agreed more. Great selection and equally neat presentation. Thank you very much to share such an engaging video.
Good job. I truly enjoyed it.
I would love if you would watch my videos!
Nowadays, young people rarely know difference between a literature book and a literary book.
I'd work on your typing, grammar, and proofreading before making such comments.
Keep uploading more videos on literature. Youre doing great.
Carefully researched and selected I must say
Very well done! 🙂
Thank you 🙂
An engaging, informative presentation.
Excellent! 10 out of 10
Classy!👌.Make a video on the best books since 2000, please.
Making is good. Non-distracting background music.👏👍
Nice voice, appropriate selection. A good job
Excellent! Thanks a lot.
A very well designed array of books. Thank you.
Its good that you included the Gormenghast series. Its so much underrated. I would hail it as the best fantasy work of all time.
I never heard of it till I just watched this Video and you mentioned it in your Comment. What is it about? What country and language was it written in ?
"InfiniteJest" shouldve been included.
I would prefer Hemingways "For Whom the Bell Tolls" to "A farewell to Arms" and Faulkners "Absalom, Absalom!" to "Light in August".
my favorite too
ah, where is phillip roth! my favorite is sabbath theatre but human stain works also
Great choice!
There are too many classics around. its difficult to make the best 50 books. Still, I appreciate this selection.
Can you please do some genre-specific compilation?
Try to make a video on literary science fiction and another on literary fantasy.
You should make more videos and upload on TH-cam.
Read some of these books closely and youve lived a fruitful life
Carefully selected list. Consideration was given to general genre. May not be good for the readers of sci-fi, mystery, horror, and detective fiction.
Yeah!!! Good to see "If on a Winters Night a Traveler".
Marvyn Peake is so underrated. I feel sorry for all those fantasy readers who never know of him.
Interesting and amusing! 👏
Good..😀... time for pretension 😉
What did the librarian say?
The 1920s saw an explosion of great books.
A good way to present good world literature. For a few seconds, the voice gets booming, maybe because the mic was too close to the mouth.
I doubt not many people read books with passion and deep understanding. They want to know the names of classics only for the sake of education.
Stephen Kings The Stand deserve a place.
I have read ..
The Trial (Ghastly)
Great Gatsby
The Castle (Morbid)
A Farewell To Arms (Wow)
The Grapes of Wrath (dont read this)
The Strange (brilliant in bits)
1984
The Catcher in the Rye (best book of the list?)
Lolita (mental viagra yet beautiful)
On The Road
To Kill A Mocking Bird
One Hundred Years of Solitude (you will forget your own name because of how many characters it has)
The Color Purple (accessible)
The Handmaid's Tale (paltry)
The Remains of the Day (Brilliant, the author doesnt have any other book that holds this much sway)
Disgrace (beautifully unsettling)
Wow, you seem to be an avid reader of classics.

Kanwar= Why did you say don't read this about The Grapes of Wrath?
Isabelle allende any of them. also philip roth
Doing it great.. 💦👌👍😺
I would prefer Toni Morrisons Song of Solomon to Beloved though the later is quite a work.
I wouldve included "Brave New World" and "Water Ship Down".
This list missed A Game of Throne ... a good miss for the better
A Game of Throne is not a trash, but nor a brilliant work by any means. I must say the TV series adaptation is better adaptation than the book series.
LMAO
What, not a single book from Stephen King?
Well, maybe after 50 years from now he'll be more critically acclaimed.
How many of us know 1984 and Slaughterhouse-five are science fiction?
I would argue whether both books re really Science Fiction especially 1984.
Orlando is my more favorite than Virginias Mrs. Dalloway and To the Lighthouse.
Also, you may like to see my other video, "150 Best Fictional Works Ever." at th-cam.com/video/xhHRwA6VlhA/w-d-xo.html
100 years of solitude is the perfect book
Theres no perfect selection of all time great books. But you seem to have tried as best as possible for you.
Frank Herberts "Dune" though overrated can be included.
Harry Potter is ignored again. Is popularity a demerit for critical evaluation?

The Lord of the Rings is overrated. I liked the film adaptation more.
When did read a full book? more than two years and Im sure Im with the majority including Trump.
WTF? No Sci-fi? Is this genre that bad? 😡You ruined your work not include a single book of hard-core sci-fi.
I cringe every time I see The Handmaid's Tale on one of these lists. It's just a mediocre and unbelievable ripoff of 1984. When the histrionics produced by victim culture die out, this book will disappear from all of these lists.
AFD
Nice voice, appropriate selection. A good job.
Yeah!!! Good to see "If on a Winters Night a Traveler".
