    Drop-dead gorgeous plane and a great sounding engine at a wonderful site on a beautiful day. This is what I think about when I'm stuck in traffic.

    Very very nice flight and very nice littlest rcgf 10cc gas engine. Super sweet power!

    I just received the stinger 15cc for a chipmonk. Super nice engine. Starts easy. Ran good right from the box with no needle adjustments. I'll fine tune it before flight. Great price as well. Great video.

    Nice flying plane! I had a Kadet MK2, and another similar plane for many years- seeing this plane fly brings back many memories. Really impressed with how slow this plane can fly.

    Very nice. I'm a little supersized to see a 10cc swinging a 14 inch prop. I have few K&B .61 glow engines which usually have a bit more kick than gasoline and they are happy with a 12x6.

      My Stinger 15cc swings a 15x6 prop at 9200rpm. Its what stinger recommends.

    Very nicely finished aircraft! I have a 31 cc twin gasoline engine ready too be put into an airplane it’s a RCGF

      Yes I thought it would! I'm currently building a aerostar 40 and adding flaps to it! I'm a firm believer in them for short runways!

    Biggest drawback to the only 10cc engines left is the rear carb makes the mounting long so the nitro engines they are perfectly suited to replace might not fit under a cowl. It’s too bad the evolution 10cc was discontinued having a front carb 10cc was a nice option. I have one of these with a .70 surpass but have not yet had the chance to fly it yet.

    Yeah a lot of times I have to land with the wind in the area I fly in, that's why I use flaps or flaperons and they seem to work pretty good for you too!

    Hi, new to your channel. Beautiful aircraft! Questions:
    1. When you say “gas”, am I correct to assume you’re referencing petroleum gasoline and not a compressed gas such as propane?
    2. If gasoline, is the lubricant mixed with the fuel?
    3. Is there a technical video about the engine?
    After a 40 year absence and now retired I’m getting back into RC and have much to learn. Thank you for the video.

    • @martinkolm1796

      Yes it is petro mixed with 2 stroke oil at 32:1 I don’t know of any technical videos on it Persia. I personally welcome you back to the hobby, be safe and enjoy

    I just got a rcgf15cc today! Any recommendations for a good size plane for it? I've got a 4star 60 and a escapade 61 and a VQ Tuskegee p51 mustang to build now but I'm open for suggestions for something different like maybe a large ugly stick of some sort!

    This is a very nice airplane. Do you have a blueprint for this?
    Would definitely be good for an electric motor.
    Many greetings from Germany.

    Now that’s an interesting bird for a change of pace. Was installation with rear carb any trouble? I assume this is the rear exhaust version. What sort of rpms does it turn with that 14x6??

    • @martinkolm1796
      @martinkolm1796 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a fantastic bird if you just want to take a nice relaxing flight and yes it is rear exhaust , the rear carb was not a problem and I don’t believe I ever put the tachometer on it. I have quite a bit of time on it still swinging the 14x6 pretty good thanks for your question

    Hi , what's the fuel , please ? how much time for a full tank flight ? Thanks for video .

    • @martinkolm1796
      @martinkolm1796 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The fuel is mixed gas @ 32~1, that had a 12oz tank and would last about 20-30 minutes. I recently converted this plane to a o.s. Surpass 70 on the same 12oz tank it will last about 35-40 minutes. Thanks for the comment

    What is "flywheel action"?

    • @martinkolm1796
      @martinkolm1796 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is the inertia created by the propeller. Example: a lite flywheel is much easier to slow down than a heavier one thus making the engine slow down slower so the 14x6 takes a little longer to spool down than a 13x6 would. Thanks for your question

  • @davestambaugh7282

    So the click bait is that it is a glo motor and not actually a gas engine. If it was really gas would you be mixing oil with the fuel?

    • @russcole5685
      @russcole5685 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. These are petrol 2stroke engine's, spark ignition
