Possibly not the most popular opinion but Em and Pun could have outdone anything Dre ever did. To me Pun is one of the best if not the best MC ever. Dre has a classic sound but nothing he was involved with prior to Em is in the same lyrical realm as endangerd species. I personally prefer Pun to Em but acknowledge the skills of Em.

Things would have been much different for Eminem, with Dre. he gained the ties and respect of the West Coast and black community being a white rapper from Detroit. That helped him stay connected East to West.
