Now that's the way to finish up that 8,000th episode! with the DOUBLE JACKPOT and plus the automobile! Interesting that all week long, the INFINITI was played for all the time in the bonus round! WOW!
Seconded! That was one of my favorite elements ever! I always wanted it to be won and was sad when it was quietly retired in 2013. All that said, even if this ends up being the Jackpot's swan song for sure, at least it will retire on a spectacular note!
I will say that might be one of the next level of Wheel of Fortune jackpots they never see before until we witness now this is definitely matching gets a genius book records as a bonus to it
I think this “Big Money Week” has caused the audience to be louder & more hyped than normal 😂 I wish this “Big Money” event stayed for the rest of the season lol
I managed to RSTLNE tonight's Bonus Puzzle, and with the choices Michael made with his letters, I figured he had a chance. That said, this is certainly a night to remember! All three contestants won something tonight, the Jackpot was doubled, and Michael's walking away with a sweet six-figure paycheck! What a fantastic way to celebrate 8000 episodes in syndication! Congratulations to tonight's players and the show!
Yeah! Notice at the end chat segment that pat mentioned the daytime version of this show. The daytime version rarely get mentioned on the nighttime show since the end of the daytime version run back in 8/30/91. I remember in one episode in the late 2000s that Pat even mentioned the wheel’s original name of Shopper’s bazaar.
@@anthonyguarino4242 That is indeed nice. Plus, what you just said reminded me of when Vanna discussed Wheel 2000 shortly into its short-lived run. I still remember that version like it was yesterday. Now, however, with the daytime version being acknowledged the way it was tonight, I definitely see something special happening for the show’s golden jubilee on January 6th of next year.
@@germanname1990 you never know! Maybe we get to see the very first full episode of wheel of fortune all the way back in 1/6/75 with chuck Woolery and Susan Stafford! Maybe that’s the reason they kept that full episode from the public for so long until the 50th birthday!
@@anthonyguarino4242 Seconded. In fact, that’s exactly what I’ve been thinking for a long while now. Another episode I would love to see is from the hour-long show from November of that year. I know that one’s intact too.
@@germanname1990 and again from 12/1/75-1/16/76 and from what I read, the prize wedge was introduced prior to become official debut on 9/19/83. Unlike the current, if you land on bankrupt while holding one, it places back on the wheel but I’m not sure if that means that you get another chance to pick it up again when you land on it or another contestant get the chance to pick it up. On November 1975, the prize is labeled CAR while on December through January 1976, it was labeled BONUS. Also according to multiple eyewitnesses, there was a negative score happened once in early 1975 episode and it was seen on the television at the 1982 world fair due to landing on buy a vowel wedge with less than $250.
Well that was certainly an exciting way to mark the 8000th show with Michael's big win in getting the Double Jackpot to close out the week. Along with a big six figure win in getting $100,000 the hard way even leaving aside not hitting the big one in the BR. Still, he won a nice car so a good milestone show overall.
The next week (Pat's penultimate week) is gonna be the Fan Favorites Week and Pat's final week is the Thank You For The Memories Week. So we're only having 10 episodes left with Pat Sajak.
Congratulations to Michael Bystrzycki. 👍👍👏👏 But male contestant still not have won or lost million dollar envelope at Wheel of Fortune since WOF 26S on September 8, 2008. MDBR with Pat Sajak at WOF Watch: Male contestant on bonus round remain: 9. Pat Sajak host Wheel of Fortune episode remain: 10 until last day of Host WOF on June 7, 2024.
The good news, it was a big win for their 8000th episode, the bad news, no one cashed in on the $8000 wedge, and the worst news, ‘Right In The Butt’ is the worst answer to ever solve in a Toss-up round😂
History making today... another BR car sweep & cleaner become today!! (taking -Ing, same as S39 puzzle & even regular play, champ still leaves $71K+) no more ( )K episode week jinx now & Happy 8K ep. for WoF!! (& I hope for GP winner invited from another FF)
Happy 8000th Pat, Vanna, Jim, Maggie, and everybody at Wheel. Michael rocks tonight even his pink shoes and belt!
Michael is a stylish guy

I agree as well this is great, but we actually need the jackpot round back
