I missed "hahahaha...well you SCREWED ME AGAIN, Costanza!" so much I went and looked it up in another clip haha. I feel that's just an iconic line for the show, encapsulating the many ways people get screwed by various other people, and such a great delivery 🤣🤣
Im absolutely loving these seinfeld reactions. I watch em when i get home from work. Watch the Gum, wigmaster, scofflaw, the comeback, the kiss hello and others. Many other episodes please.
My British teacher of English once commented that the meats change their name in English when they leave the farm and are served on a plate. And this is for cultural reasons: after the Norman Conquest of Britain in 1066 when the French language became the norm for the ruling classes and the Anglo-Saxon Germanic-based English was for peasants who tended the cows, chicken and sheep. Thus we eat beef, veal, mutton, pork, kid, venison, squab and pullet (old word for chicken).
While that is true historically, mutton properly means a sheep's meat taken from an animal at least 2 years old. In USA that term is rarely used and the all-encompassing (and misleading for both reasons) 'lamb' is used to describe all sheep meat.
I like the one where Elaine meets a British guy on an airplane, they hit it off so he stays with her, but he turns out to be a jerk. She over sleeps the alarm to get him to the airport. It's also the one where an annoying comic gives Jerry an Armani suit, then Jerry has to take him out for dinner.
That whole Paul O'Neill storyline was a callout to "Pride of the Yankees" with Lou Gehrig (Gary Cooper) promising to hit 2 HR's for the kid in the hospital, after the kid had already been promised one by Babe Ruth (as himself). Great movie if you haven't seen Lou Gehrig's story.
Yes mutton is sheep, here on the Navajo Nation we love Roast Mutton sandwiches, which is Navajo frybread, tender mutton meat, lettuce tomato onion and New Mexico hatch green chili 🔥😋👌 6:15
Just so you know. I had a butcher until a month ago when he retired. He him for years. As useful as a lawyer, a doctor or a mechanic. Let's you know when he gets something special. Gives you prices!!! Very useful
I think they live around Austin, TX, which means they likely shop at a chain like HEB. The concept of a smaller grocery store where you know your butcher personally must be lost on them.
8:59 Shout to Paul O'Neill for making a cameo appearance. I hate the uniform and the franchise but I love the players during their 96-2000 run including a three peat. Paul O'Neill is very funny and does excellent color commentary for the YES Network.
Muttton is the term used for older sheep, lamb is baby sheep, Mutton might be the surname given to families that raised and were sheep herders aka shepherds back in the old days in Europe
Haha. My mom keeps her ringer on. It’s very jarring! This is a great episode. The Gymnast and the Doorman are must-watch episodes. You’d also probably really like the Pageant, and it would make sense to watch that one first.
Everything on Seinfeld is basically implausible. That's why we love it right? Lots of really funny gags woven into an implausible storyline. The sophistication is breadth and depth of the stories and characterization.
Mutton is an ordinary occasional meat here in Ireland, where most people have 'their' butcher - unless you're in a very small village, towns typically have a couple or a few butchers, and people will stick with 'their' butcher because they think the meat is better from him, or his cuts are better, or they like him and their family/business - whatever. People tend to stick to 'their' anything, once that choice is initially made, and butchers particularly end up with 'their' customers, for mutton or anything else. I imagine that's the same in most countries and cultures.
I don’t understand the concept of the snooze button. If you don’t have to get up yet, why do you need the alarm? Why not set it later, so you don’t have to keep hitting the snooze button?
Depends on hotel but most hotels still have landlines so the wake up call goes there rather than your cell phone. It also still provides some privacy if don't want to share you cell phone with them.
That kid in the hospital I think is Thomas Dekker who played John Connor in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles show, Zach in Heroes, 7th Heaven, Nick in Honey I Shrunk the Kids the tv show, a voice in Fillmore!, Jackie Chan Adventures, and other animated series/movies
The Boy Friend, The Cadillac, The Scofflaw, The Beard, The Van Buren Boys, The Frogger, The Gum, The Wigmaster, The Understudy ("no Bette Midler?"), The Opera, The Parking Space, etc etc.
The boy name Bobby was in an earlier episode from Season 5 called "The Stand-In". He later co-starred with Lena Headey as a teenage John Conner in "The Sarah Conner Chronicles" TV series.
What you should do is watch every episode that includes all the people who are in the final episode. So she has some context. There's the one with the Pakistani restaurant I think you need to do.
Ahh the simplicity of landline phones that werent equipped with mute buttons back in the day...if it rang you were waking up. Especially the rotary phones lol
Not if you disconnect the phone. And if you had a computer with internet back in the day, and only one line, one would need to unplug the phone to plug in the internet. Those were the days.
@DrVVVinK But, that was when only the rich and well-to-do had computers. Then too, he may have been harkening back to those days before internet, which is what I initially thought of. When computers were reliant upon whatever was programmed into them.
Haven't had a butcher since the seventies. Big supermarkets drove them out of business. My grandmother was on a special diet and they made extra lean ground beef just the way she needed it.
Mutton is the full grown sheep. Lamb is the baby. And yes, I have a specific butcher; he pays extra to stock game meat like venison, elk, and rabbit. As a reminder: you have to hit a bunch of key characters before the finale: Art Vandelay: "The Stakeout," "The Boyfriend," "The Red Dot," "The Cadillac," "and "The Puerto Rican Day." And this is a top priority character for the finale. Poppie: "The Pie," "The Couch," and "The Doorman." And for a bit of lore, "The Doorman" is also where Kramer comes up with The Bro. Babu: "The Cafe" and "The Visa." "The Visa" also resolves a plot point from "The Virgin," so you might want to throw that in, too. Mabel Choate: "The Cadillac." Although, you have _met_ Mabel; Kacee just does not realize it or know her full significance. Mr. Pitt: ...pretty much every Season 6 episode you skipped. The critical episode is "The Diplomat's Club." Jackie Chiles: "The Maestro," "The Caddy," and "The Friar's Club." Peterman: ...a bunch. "The Secret Code" is a personal favorite. He got his start in "The Understudy," which references "The Fusilli Jerry" twice. The Seinfeld family: ...a bunch more! "The Kiss Hello" and "The Doodle" capture all of them pretty well. And "The Kiss Hello" has an iconic moment. Kenny Bania: "The Soup," "The Secretary," and "The Fatigues." Mr. Morgan: "The Pledge Drive," "The Diplomat's Club," and "The Mom and Pop Shop." If I recall correctly, he is not essential to the finale, but he is memorable, especially in "The Diplomat's Club" and "The Wink." Lloyd Braun: "The Non-Fat Yogurt" and "The Gum." There is also a small carryover from "The Gum" in "The Bottle Deposit." And be sure to go back to finish Play Now with "The Voice" and show off Kruger with "The Slicer." For other fun episodes: You might want to finish up Rachel with "The Raincoats." While not big like those listed above, she is Jerry's most serious relationship, and you have already seen every other episode she is in. For a bit of lore, we can throw in "The Conversion" and "The Cheever Letters." For actions the gang did not have to answer for, there is "The Old Man." "The Bris" is a riot. "The Handicap Spot" was the introduction of Frank Costanza. You might want to finish off George's classic Yankee moments with (in addition to several above) "The Millennium," "The Comeback," and "The Muffin Tops." Although, to full appreciate "The Muffin Tops," you will want to see "The Wig Master" and "The Van Buren Boys" first. And just as a bit of fun, "The Andrea Doria."

You left out the best line? "Pulp can MOVE baby!"
Pulp can't fly!
Yes that is quite the oversight for this episode. No one delivers lines like Costanza.
I missed "hahahaha...well you SCREWED ME AGAIN, Costanza!" so much I went and looked it up in another clip haha. I feel that's just an iconic line for the show, encapsulating the many ways people get screwed by various other people, and such a great delivery 🤣🤣
"The Bottle Deposit 1 & 2" It has it all: The CORE 4 + Sue Ellen Mischke, Lots of Newman, J. Peterman etc, etc. IT'S GREAT!
One of the rare episodes where George isn’t at fault and is actually trying to help someone else out.
Just because he didn’t want the responsibility of the job.
20 years ago people would actually pay for ringtones... today my phone is forever silent! 🤣
You left out my favorite part when George winks when he says "Of course, your massage" in front of Mrs Morgan 😄
The Pool Guy from Seinfeld is a very great episode, where Kramer runs a movie line on the phone :-)
I refer to that one as The Independent George.
oly oly oxenfree!
@@wampa25 I HAD TO GO TO REGGIES JERRY...REGGIES!
Kramer has lots of jobs and no pay. He does it just for him. Kramerica industries was always a go
Welcome to movie phone... why don't you just tell me the name of the movie you wanted to watch!
Pulp can move baby!
Im absolutely loving these seinfeld reactions. I watch em when i get home from work. Watch the Gum, wigmaster, scofflaw, the comeback, the kiss hello and others. Many other episodes please.
The Beard, too. George in a toupee😂
oh, they will end up watching every episode

They should really watch all of them!!
"Kid looks like he could be in a horror film"
He was in Village of the Damned 1995.

You have to watch Non-fat yogurt for Jerry dropping F-bombs. Also, the Comeback is a must.
"The Comeback" is essential Seinfeld.
When you live in New York City, you have a butcher! :)
That’s so Franco
The car dealership is my favorite one. George is on point with his anger
The car dealership?
IT'S A TWIX!
THEY'RE ALL TWIX!
“I can feel my stomach sucking up against my spine!”
I've been asking for that one for weeks.
@@PhenomProductions-tn5fj It's a season 9 episode. They will be doing season 9 after some older episodes.
TWIIIXXXX!!!.
9:25 - that boy is actor Thomas Dekker and he was in John Carpenter's "Village of the Damned," a horror movie, in 1995.
"The Glasses" & "The Busboy" both have some of the best physical comedy from Julia Louis Dreyfus for the entire series.
I love this episode. Especially George. Glad you guys are enjoying this show
“Well, ya screwed me again, Costanza!”
Paul O'Neill does color commentary for yankees games now. He's just as witty and hilarious in the booth as he is on Seinfeld
Before he was a Yankee, Paul O'Neill was one of my Reds. Good right fielder!
Yes mutton is sheep, here on the Navajo Nation we love Roast Mutton sandwiches, which is Navajo frybread, tender mutton meat, lettuce tomato onion and New Mexico hatch green chili 🔥😋👌 6:15
I'm closer to Jerry than to Cousin Meat in my own diet (although rarely would I eat JUST a salad!), but WOW that sounds delicious.
"Undateable".. "how are people getting together" ..alcohol.

Yep - he WAS in a horror movie! Great call by Anthony here!
😳
Gotta watch The Hot Tub! “Why separate knob, why separate knob?”
Watch you guys every week here in Oz. You have to watch The Close Talker one of my favourite episodes.❤️
Still waiting for the “pez dispenser” episode. Definitely one of the best!
Yes one of the best.
"the subway" is another episode where they all have a different adventure
A fun interesting episode I’ve always enjoyed is “the betrayal”
You definitely have to watch the reverse episode… When they go to India for the wedding
Love the reactions. Keep 'em coming!
The Opera and The Kiss Hello are must watches.
Haha. My mom keeps her ringer on. It’s very jarring! This is a great episode. The Gymnast and the Doorman are must-watch episodes. You’d also probably really like the Pageant, and it would make sense to watch that one first.
Hey, you know what's a great episode involving alarms? "The Hot Tub"! Also, not related to alarms, gotta get on "The Subway" if you haven't :)
That kid in the hospital looks like he could be young Homelander.
“Who has a specific butcher?”
Well there was this show called the Brady Bunch…
You gotta watch The Pen!!! You gotta watch The Library!!
You have to go back to season7 and watch “the hottub”😂
And season 4 to watch “the oldman”😂
Two hilarious episodes!!
You guys need to do curb your enthusiasm if you haven't seen it already.
No pls, too jewish.

the kid was John Conner in the Sarah Conner Chronicles tv show. A very underrated show.
The Cheever Letters, The Chaperone, The Cafe, The Handicap Spot, The Bris and The Little Jerry.
Depends on hotel but most hotels still have landlines so the wake up call goes there rather than your cell phone. It also still provides some privacy if don't want to share you cell phone with them.

Woah! I've seen all of TSCC but never would've guessed. He was VERY good in this haha, glad he got some success as he got older too.
“Pulp Can Move BABY!” George’s funniest line😂 Didn’t make the cut? 🤔
Highly recommend “The Boyfriend”

don't stop the Seinfeld reactions!! 🥲🙏😭
You could just ask the front desk for a wake up call. Part of the hotel's service.
Yankee George is the best George. Please consider giving Duckman a try. It's the same actor.
I think the kid IS in a horror movie. Village Of The Damned (1995)
Please do the barber episode.
It is one of my favorites.
I do the same mad multi alarm thing 🤠
Cant believe u skipped “the maestro”!
U gotta watch the maestro!!
I'm a savage I keep my ringer on lol.
The Tape is a very good episode about Elaine leaving a sexy message on Jerry's tape recorder.
Do The Fix Up - S3e16
Watch “The Apology”, another great episode
Watch them all!!!

True they aren’t as common in much of the US, but they are still prevalent here in NYC.

Bottle Deposit 1 and 2
Reverse episode!
Bit of trivia, the over the phone voice of Elaine's date was Peter Dinklage
“Just a salad…just a salad…just a salad”
I love mutten ❤😊 Jerry crazy😅
So Jerry is a spitter lol
9:26 The kid was in a horror/sci fi called Village of the Damned. It’s decent. I would even say underrated.
Village of the Damned is not a Stephen King adaptation. It's based on the science-fiction novel "The Midwich Cuckoos" by John Wyndham.
We have a great butcher!
_Just a salad… Just a salad… Just a salad_ …
I still say this whenever I buy a salad. Love that line.
Kacee: "One of those".
Of course! Your massage! 😉
Y'all think Anthony & Kacee could handle drawn together
Sometimes they go way too far, beyond the limits of South Park :P
I keep my phone on silent all the time but my alarm still comes through. It's the Samsung clock app that comes with the phone.
I use do not disturb with my alarm as an exception.
Crazy what this new technology can do.💫
Lamb - young sheep
Mutton - old sheep
Yeah, the meat changes as they grow.
A lot of lamb is mutton too tbh, the butchers just lie about it
The Boyfriend is a classic episode
Have you seen George work on the Penske file?
Curb you enthusiasm please!
Did you do the Bizaroo Jerry episode?
