Im not normally a dancin type.... but this song makes me want to get up and do some sort wiggle these brilliance friggin hippies did back then in the most smooth of ways!
Talk about shakedown street. So I got 2 ads to start, 2 ads 130 in, 1 ad 830, 1 ad at 1400. Make us watch five ads first, one song, even a jgb or gd, shouldn't have four commercial breaks Be kind
ha! Deadheads often refer to 1976 as 'the quaalude year' because they played their songs at such a languid tempo. This '76 version of Don't Let Go shows the same drowsy pace; when I first started listening I had to wonder whether the recording speed was a little off!
@@raymondnoodels7775 John Kahn was maybe Jerry's tighest closest longest friend, certainly among them. He was a great bass player and Jerry's ensemble double, by choice, for a quarter century, a soulful person and a sweet human being. Jerry loved him. People who talk about him without ever knowing him need to think about their own behavior. Jerry made his choices, that was his right. The music he played and left us is a blessing forever. And John Kahn was a key element and participant in half of it. Show a little respect.
This is the 1st Dead song i ever heard! Drew me in with the quickness, i was sold! True blues music at its finest!!
This is JGB brother 🔥 but you’re spot on
Just when I thought I was out, Jerry pulls me back in!
I love how Jerry is constantly smiling. We all need to smile more!
This soothes the soul!

Used to look more forward to see JGB in the mid 70's than I did to see the Dead (more soulful).

Woohoo! So damn fine! I don’t like imagining a world where that man didn’t touch us and enrich our lives with his love and talent. 😀❤️😀

Just wow!
look so fuckin' happy----love you so...........
I love this
Reminds me of "Not Fade Away".
It’s the Bo Diddley rhythm that makes them sound similar
I thought that's what they were going to start playing! Sounds like the audience felt the same way too.

vintage performance
Wonder if people used to complain that the Jerry Band was too slow? :)
Probably not, because they knew Jerry could turn it on and rip any minute.
Ever heard of a little thing called GROOVE
@@nottarealguy3954 Do you mean snooze?
@@weirgarcia900 nah. Groove. It’s hypnotic and it takes it’s time
One of those rare DLGs where Spud doesn't botch the lyrics. Good, good stuff.
"10 O'Clock" Jerry snickers.
Ron Tutt also played for Elvis Presley from 1969-77. I've heard he's now playing for Neil Diamond.
And now hes sadly passed😪
His guitar needed a joint after that
Real guitars don’t need drugs to make music 🤣😎🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻

Is that ron tutt singing the other highs? That’s why they’re laughing?
Tutt?
