No mate. Method tight across. If I fished it again would also set up a bomb 💣 in the deeper water. And a short pole. Edges waste of time. Good luck

I use matrix 16 slick, have had some right lumps up to 19lbs on it, hasn't let me down. Very stretchy but powers up, either that or 14 hydro preston does me good as well.
Was there a chance the fish were foul hooked mate?
