「 how do 'real time study with me' videos work? 」
it can be very motivating to study and do some work while someone also is -- and this is what 'study with me' videos try to replicate. treat me like a friend / study buddy and just sit down and study with me or work on whatever you need to get done for the day!
after this study session, take a 15-30 min break and do whatever you want to do. i usually read mangas / mahwas, watch anime, netflix, or just random videos on yt that interest me -- so basically anything!
also please let me know if you prefer study with me videos with music or no music (only bg noise) or if i should do longer hours (2 hrs w/ 30 min breaks?) or shorter (25/5 pomodoro for 2 hours) i will try uploading more study with me videos more often, so please let me know you would like!

I didnt watch the whole video, just kept my phone to the side and listened to the the lofi music and keyboard while doing my maths assignment.
I get distracted easily but this helped me. Im proud of how much progress i made in just 1 hour, thankyou 💞

how often do you study? is it all day every day? or do you take days off? also with studying this much.. what sort of grades do you get if you don't mind me asking. also do you have a study timetable? - if you do please could you show me how to make one. im going into year 13 and these tips would be a massive help. wondering if we could email sometime so I could learn to get as focused as you for my a levels.

no worries at all!
i try to make a habit of studying everyday during term time. when we dont have exams, its usually 3-4 hrs to do homework/finish notes on my three subjects. i take fridays and sat off then finish stuff/homework on sundays. when we have exams, its 6-8 hrs usually to do homework, notes and do revision (flashcards, practice qs etc). this is 4-6 wks before exams. i dont really take days off when we have exams, but we try to go to a walk at the beach, or go to a cafe for a few hrs just to relax.
as for the grades, im not exactly comfortable sharing it as most likely other people would want to compare and be obligated to work harder to get the grades i got, which doesnt always equate with each other. if you can be more efficient with time but still get the grades u wanted, that’s the optimal form of studying.
i dont have a fixed timetable bc they dont really work for me, i just time block how long i need to study / do hw per subject on google cal everyday (as the amt of hw and revision varies anyway).
there’s a vid by unjaded jade and eve bennet for making a timetable if u wanna check that out!
i guess starting early on revision and doing hw on free periods/the day it was set, and having the habit of studying asap after school so u can get the rest of the evening off, planning your day using to do lists/google cal the day before, take breaks often (i usually do 90 min work then 30 min break as i dont like getting interrupted often but whatever suits u better ofc!), use forest if u get distracted w ur phone or play a real time study w me. but more important stuff is getting enough sleep, making sure that you still take care of yourself, and make time to do things u still wanna do/enjoy!
