Man I come back to this every once in a while for that trombone solo it's so good
Great job by all members. I think Mr. Rich would appreciate this!!
Nice trombone solo on "Somewhere". Very strong lead trumpet work.
He's my middle school band teacher

Amazing, full tone in the trombone solo.
Beautiful arrangement, how can I get it to play in our big band here in Curitiba - Brazil?
dan baker nicely done on a difficult solo.
Buddy cut it out of the chart when he decided to move Rick Stepton from the jazz chair to lead---Stepton was concerned that he couldn't handle the range good enough for Buddy's standards. He really respected Stepton that much.
I am so impressed. You guys are superb. You are right up there with Buddy Rich and Stan Kenton.
Drums are solid but I would like to hear cymbals with more FIRE and spark. Very good job drummer!!!
Not too bad, guys. I kinda dug that.
Dynamic. They've got it.
If you listen to a lot of Buddy's versions of this chart, they are not as solid and clean as this one! GREAT JOB!
That’s a lie these guys are mediocre
With an arrangement made most popular by Buddy Rich the drummer was in a no win situation. But he did a great job holding the band on pace. Overall a very very good presentation. Brass was awesome. Sax solo could have been miked up a bit. Trombone sole excellent. One of the best presentations by a College Band I've ever seen. Next step up would be professional.
A number of these kids have gone on to pro careers.
Very good! (Light and jazzy) Thank You!
Clássico de Buddy Rich que impõe muita pressão sobre os universitários. Mas é sempre bom ouvi-lo. Obrigado!
Very clean sound…esp that bass bone 🦴
Hell a very nice band
bruya is so funny
WHY IS THE DRUMMER READING???
