I get annoyed when I see reviewers say "This is just a cheesy action movie with Jason Statham. You get what you expect". Have our standards for action movies really fallen that much that as long as there are a couple of action scenes and one liners then we accept everything else?
Statham is standard Statham in the movie yes, it he is also only on screen for about 15-20 minutes. The actual main character is the female FBI agent and everything with her and her partner was horrible. Bad acting, terrible writting and lots of comedy that fell completely flat.
None of the villians are ever threatening. Statham doesn't get a scratch in the whole movie except in the final fight in the last 5 minutes. The literally send another Beekeeper after him and she is taking care of in less than 2 minutes. Just ridiculous and not how you make a good action movie.
A lot of the action scenes are also pretty generic and with bad 3D effects. There are a couple that are fine, but that is not enough in a movie where this is suppose to be the selling point.
Overall it is not just a bad movie, it is a bad action movie and it needs to be called out for what it is - one of Statham's worst movies (and there are some real stinkers there).

The fact that it was her mom that died and this dude did way more in terms of revenge is hilarious
She was a bad actor for reals
her acting was bad. no serious tone at all, and her mother died. it doesn't make sense
If she wasn't in the movie, I would've liked it more.

You are correct, this movie was horrendously bad. And all the people defending it or liked it... are mouth-breathers. Bro, its indefensible. Worst movie I've seen in years.

Absolute horseshit. It was a great movie, one of the best of 2023. The logic was straightforward and easy to follow, one would have to have an IQ below room temperature not to keep up.
We all know why it gets hate from soyboy lefties. They hate the idea of a straight white civilian male taking justice into his own hands against those in power (lefties LOVE the state). They also hated how easily Clay manhandled, overpowered and defeated the female beekeeper.
It was a fun, fast-paced, satisfying, action-packed, revenge action thriller.
If you took the beekeeper seriously, you are bugging out.
I dunno, I really enjoyed this, you really can't take it seriously. There is something satisfying watching Jason Statham kicking ass. This was cheesy as hell, but sometimes we need a bit of cheddar on our burgers, we need some sauce with our pasta!

I have not seen it yet, but it seems like a movie you just take at face value and enjoy it for what it is.

One thing I've learned is to never trust a review on TH-cam. Watch it and decide for yourself.

I'm far from the only one who disliked those movies. Exorcist Believer was a cash grab made by an activist who interjected his own politics and world view. And Halloween Ends was just nuts and clearly written on the spot and not planned as part of the trilogy. And many many other reviewers have said the same thing. BUT I am glad you're enjoying so many movies these days.. I wish I was too.

I saw the Beekeeper and the special effects were horrible and the people couldn't act. I'm not going to the movies for the next year...giving Hollywood time to get its act together.

It's sad that people are dumb enough to get scammed into buying gift cards to recoup the debt for a scammer. Sadly, I know someone I work with who's wife was scammed and she went and got $5000 worth of gift cards and gave them to scammers. I would think 'go buy google gift card' would be a bit of a red flag.

They should of modeled the president off of tRump. That would of been WAY more believable. The whole second half of the movie quickly degraded to being laughably bad.

I still may give this film A shot so he's the Transporter just now with Beekeeping?! And the one older black Woman he helps in this Movie is the Legendary Phyliscia Rashad who played Claire Huxtable on the Cosby Show back in the days!

Kinda random but u have to check out Scavengers Reign. Recently finished it. Its 1 of the best series ive watched in decades. Its an animated Sci-fi series. Its 1 of dem shows where its so good u have to tell somebody about it. I promise u, you'll thoroughly enjoy it to the max. Its a masterpiece ✨ 👏 🙌 🔥

These movies companies which includes actors and everyone else involved, it is a serious amount of work and undertaking. Even if anyone does not like the movie, sure I can totally understand that. Makes me pause though since I’m certain many of these people on various crews works long and hard taking lots of time out of their lives for their work. Then in a matter of minutes someone somewhere whom does care for or like their craft shares with the world 🌍 how much they did not like what they saw. Of course I know it goes both ways since critics might like or live the film/movie and totally praise it. Just seems strange to me. I guess that just is the industry I suppose. No I have no sense since I just gave my 2 cents 😂

Terrible understanding about the subject... Erik! The Beekeeper is really about extreme measures the state goes to when they have no other choice... very relevant in todays world. Jason Statham does not disappoint either!
