I watched your cool video as I'm prepping for KCON LA 2024! I was there last year and solo as well 😺 Hopefully, I'll get to see your transformations this year in real time. 🥹 I would’ve absolutely loved to have met you & was 100% planning to go this year but, unfortunately, since Kcon decided they weren’t going to do regular convention tickets this time around, I won’t be attending 😞 it got too pricey & I hadn’t planned to attend any shows or extra things to save money. Maybe next year though, if they go back to their usual pricing & packaging 🙏🏻🙌🏻🩷
I was blessed enough to see Taem last year so, thank God I’m not missing out! 😭
I’m so glad you’re getting to go & can see Taemin 🙌🏻🫶🏻 he would’ve been my priority too so, I understand! I hope you have a blast!!!! 🥰🎉
I’m sorry Uber wasn’t the best for you 😕 I completely get it though. I was fortunate a few times but, there were a lot of unpleasant experiences before the good ones 🙃😅

I'm preparing for my first kcon this year, and i will be going solo as well, was it still fun even going by yourself? were thee pros and cons? 🤗

@@sean3068 Ahh! That’s so exciting! 🩷
It was definitely just as fun (for me personally) & I found traveling alone was honestly a lot less stressful.
Of course it’s a blast having friends to go with but, alone, I could do things at my own pace & do what I wanted, when I wanted, without having to worry about anyone else & really liked that aspect a lot!
The convention seems to be a lot different this year than it’s been in the past but, the pros, at least from my experience, are; the overall energy of being there! It’s almost electric, especially the first time being there! The people are usually very nice too- vendors & staff included, which is always a plus ☺️ There’s always something going on , whether it’s a performance, an interactive booth, shopping, a scavenger hunt, random dance play, or idols interviewing at one of the booths. It’s definitely rare to get bored & the food is super good as well- lots to try & experience 👌🏻 and the music (of course) is always the best!
The cons would definitely be; lack of communication between staff. One day something would be alright, then the next, it wouldn’t be, which was a little frustrating at times. Another would be disorganization, which seemed to be a big problem last year, especially with the cue outside. It was a hot mess (quite literally- it was hot as heck outside 😅) so, hopefully it’s better & faster this year- more like the previous years 🙌🏻 Another con is the price of food & drink. It’s insanely expensive so, I’d recommend bringing an empty water bottle inside the convention & filling it at the water fountain when you get inside. It’ll save you a little money 🫶🏻 another con, not so much convention related is catching Ubers 🙃😅 you catch on eventually but, it can be a pain, especially when you’re on your own trying to hunt one down 😂 I recommend knowing/learning the pickup zones within the area so, it’ll be easier & no money will be wasted on drivers canceling the ride.
Overall, I’ve always had a blast, whether I was with friends or on my own & I hope you I’ve the best time!!!! Experience as much as you’re able & take it all in at your own pace! 🥰🩷🫶🏻

🤣 no joke! I talked to my camera so much more than usual, due to being on my own but, it really was a great time, regardless, for me too! I’m so glad you enjoyed yourself! ☺️
🤣😂 I have zero patience for extremely long lines anymore, depending on what it is…..although, I still wound up in that dang line 😆🙈
