Ok ladies. One more time lol. Bass - Tim, Tenor (who sang most of the lead here) Austin, Beatboxer - Adam Rupp, Beard and glasses tenor - Rob, Cowboy hat - Chris (who started the group and is the brother of the beatboxer. Chris decided a few years back to move on to other things and so in some of their videos you will see Adam Chance (who was in the Man of Constant Sorrow instead of Chris). He goes by Chance to avoid confusing people with the group having 2 Adams. Chase was the bass in his last group and sings bass for Home Free when Tim is using the upper end of his 5 octave vocal range. Typically though Chance is the groups baritone. When they are doing songs that don't use beatboxing or sound effects Adam Rupp sings tenor harmony and has a really good tenor voice as well. If you search TH-cam for a vid called Adam Rupp drum solo, you will see about an 8 or 9 minute solo oerformance that he does during their live shows. Beatboxing and sound effects etc. The guys covers with the original singers as guests are fantastic. Elvira (with the Oak Ridge Boys), American Pie (with Don McLean) and God Bless the USA (with Lee Greenwood and singers from one of the military bands) for examples. Have fun y'all!!
Yeah !! I am sold to Homefree for about 2 years. Reacting to them will do very good on the number of suscribers you have. It will bring more people to see you. Gratz on your 1K subscibers ! Go for 10k, 100K and 1M ! Go girls !
Glad you're enjoying our Home Free guys. They have a ton of videos and each one of them have solo channels and projects. It would take you a long time to get through all of their catalog. Some reactors have up to 180 of reactions to their songs on a playlist on their channels. They all take turns singing lead. They're getting quiet a catalog of originals that are really good. Since 2016 the lineup has been the same. They change the length and even color of their hair just to confuse you. 😅 4 of them married...two are dads. High tenor Austin is youngest at 37..... not married yet but in strong 3 year committed relationship. Most fans end up with a crush on one or another of them. The bass, Tim Foust, owns a piece of my heart. They tend to share a lot about their personal lives with their fans. Very down to earth, humble and sweet gentlemen, they all are. We fans tend to adore them.
They are great in concert seen them twice now. Since Ive moved so close to Nashville Im able to see their Christmas concert every year at the Ryman Auditorium. They are my favorite vocal group with Voice play at number 2.
Thanks for reacting to Home Free's cover of this Oldie but Goodie. Notice how much younger the guys are. Their most recent work is a trilogy of love songs written by Austin. Show Me a Sign is the story of his despair after his last relationship ended after 5 yrs. Stargazer Lillies is about his curret g/f and "MR" how he met her, but could have easily missed her. Pl. don't wait to long to treat yourselves to this GLORIOUS love trilogy.
Current lineup is: Austin Brown (Tifton, Georgia - my hometown shout out), high tenor - Rob Lundquist (Minnesota), lead tenor - Adam Chance (Florida) aka Chance, baritone - Tim Foust (Texas), basso profundo, and Adam Rupp (Mankato, Minnesota) aka Adam, beatboxer and Founding Father of the group. This is the group composition that won The Sing-Off in 2013. The other gentleman in this video was Chris Rupp, Adam's brother and another founding member. He left to do solo work.
Only one change since they won the Sing Off in 2013. Chris (cowboy hat) left the band in 2016 and was replaced by Chance. This is an older video so Chris is in this. Austin (redhead), Adam (beatboxer and founder), Tim (bass), Rob (glasses), Chris (cowboy hat and founder). Chris and Adam are the Rupp brothers. They are all so talented. This is a silly song and the boys love to be silly. Try Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, Die a Happy Man, Castle on the Hill.
Austin the first lead singer with the high voice, Rob the heavy bearded tenor, Adam Rupp the beatboxer, Chris (has left) baritone with cowboy hat, an of course Tim Foust the bass/baritone/tenor withthe unworldly vocal range .
You girls are awesome, love your reactions. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with any of their songs, whether it's their originals or covers. They can make you laugh and they can make you cry, and love every beautiful note.🎶
Wonderful reaction, as always. I really look forward to Fridays now in order to see what song you're reacting to next. Might I suggest--even though it's slightly out of season at this point--Home Free's version of "Do You Hear What I Hear". A fantastic arrangement recorded in Minnesota in front of an actual ice castle .
There are 2 tenors, the high tenor leading this one is Austin, the lower tenor (beard and glasses) is Rob. you can learn more later as you check out more. My request is their cover of "Blue Ain't Your Color". Rob leads it.
They just released a Trilogy of original songs written by Austin called Stargazer Trilogy Give Me A Sign ( Chapter 1 ) Stargazer Lilies ( Chapter 2) MR ( Chapter 3 ) Austin is an amazing songwriter and these songs are so beautiful.
They are absolutely amazing in concert! I went to my first Home Free "party" last year and sat on the mezzanine level. Tim's bass shook my seat even up there.
In the videos, there's really only one lineup change. Founding member Chris Rupp (wearing the cowboy hat and brother of beatboxer Adam Rupp) left and Adam Chance came in. To avoid confusion between the two "Adams", Adam Chance goes by "Chance". Another fun song is one Tim (balls drop) Foust wrote before joining Home Free when he was feeling pressure to write country songs when he didn't want to. So he wrote "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget" trying to make the countriest country song he could out of spite. After realizing he was made for country music and joining Home Free, he tweaked it and they recorded it. The video was shot about the same time as "Ring of Fire".
Shout out to Nugget! Austin's yodeling in this was so fun in this. And the hints at Tim's extensive range are a treat. I've known about the boys for years, and I just this past year can remember Rob's name without struggling - you'll get there. Forgive me for not knowing all of the songs you've reacted to yet, but for fun I'd suggest Champagne Taste and Country Fried Pop Medley, for sheer awesomeness End of the Road, Helplessly Hoping, and Brothers in Arms, and my favorites Woman, Amen, Female, Brother, and Blue Ain't Your Color. (Also Mayday, but most people will tell you to wait on that one until you know the band better.) Thanks for another fun Friday, you three are pure sunshine! 💖
Oh ladies, it's a deep and wonderful rabbit hole to explore! They have over 300 videos and over 170 are the actual music videos. Variety is one of the many reasons I listen to HF -- genre, different leads, harmonies, creativity. Suggestions: Sea Shanty Medley When A Man Loves A Woman Brother I Can't Outrun You Folsom Prison Blues Brothers In Arms Workin' For A Livin' In The Blood And, finally, Mayday (but only after you know the members and their vocal roles)
This is such a fun song. Home free does a great job of spoofing Meghan Trainor's song. I love it when the guys ham it up, but their vocals never suffer. This song always puts a smile on my face. Love Austin's yodeling. There is a behind the scenes video which is very funny. You can tell that the guys love what they do.
May I recommend their video of Workin' for a Living. It provides all their names at the start, is their current lineup with their current appearance (save hair length), you get to hear all their voices, and Adam shows off his nomonica. It's also just fun. The only change they've had post The Sing-Off is Chris Rupp left to pursue a solo career and was replaced by Adam Chance -- known as Chance since beatboxer Adam Rupp is a founding member and thus was already established as Adam. No one else has joined or left since they started doing videos. The only changes have been hair length and beard length and, for Tim, hair color as he stopped dyeing his hair during the pandemic and let his grey mallon streak grow out.
There is a blooper reel for this video that I highly recommend you watch. Even if you just watch it for yourselves and not your podcast, it's hilarious!
The high tenor is Austin Brown. The second tenor (glasses and beard), is Rob Lundquist. The baritone "now" is Adam "Chance". The bass is Tim Foust. He has an amazing 5 octave range. The beatboxer is Adam Rupp, a champion in his own right, but can also sing tenor.
I'm sure you get a ton to requests for HF ... but let me set you up with some of the more popular choices you have not yet done. Sea Shanty Medley. Elvira. How Great Thou Art. O' Holy Night. My Church. Honey, I'm good. Champagne Taste. Children, Go where I send thee. Thank God I'm a Country Boy. Blue ain't your color. Hillbilly Bone. I think that should do you for a while. Though two of my favs is Dreamer ft Texas Hill and End of the Road.
Love the yodel in Austin's voice❣️ The HF guys have fabulous senses of humor which are clearly displayed here. They never take themselves too seriously. 😆 (And we ladies appreciate that they don't objectify females in their videos--even if it's the topic of the song! Thank you, Home Free!!)
Nugget is just adorable - thanks for letting us meet her. Home Free has a gorgeous series "Stargazer Trilogy" - comprised of "Give Me a Sign" (Chapter I); "Stargazer Lilies" (Chapter II); and "MR" (Chapter III). All three were written by Austin (curly red hair) for his lady Amberly.
Austin Brown is the high tenor. Rob Lundquist is the lead tenor (beard and glasses). Adam Rupp the beatboxer. Chris Rupp the founder and baritone (the hat guy). And of course Tim Foust the bass of the group. He has a 5 octave range. You need to watch the blooper reel of this song. You will be laughing till you cry. Enjoyed watching your reactions to this song.
High tenor- Austin Brown Lead tenor- Rob Lundquist Baritone- formerly Chris Rupp.. Currently Adam Chance.. Adam Chance also covers the bassline on some songs Bass- Tim Foust Beat boxer- Adam Rupp Tim foust has a 5 octave range.. Adam Chance has a 4 octave range
The current lineup has been in place since 2016. The group was formed in 2000 by a couple of brothers, Chris and Adam Rupp. Chris was in college, Adam in high school. From then until around 2013 members of the group would occasionally change in and out, with the exception of the founders (Adam and Chris Rupp) Rob joined around 2005, Tim joined around 2010, and Austin in 2012-early 2013. Chris left in 2016 and was replaced by Adam Chance. They’ve all put in the time to develop their talent, and the combo they have now makes for an incredible sound.
Adam Rupp is the beatboxer and one of the founders of the group. Chris Rupp is his brother and another founder of the group. He's the one that wears the cowboy hat. He left the group to start a solo career and was replaced by Adam Chance which was a bass singer for another group that Home Free went up against in the Sing Off. He left that group and joined up with Home Free when Chris decided to leave Home Free. If you want a really interesting thing to watch, ( I don't know if you would want to react to it or not), but if you pull The History of Home Free the have I believe 7 half hour videos about how the group got started and their struggles coming up through the years. It's funny and refreshing to hear their stories. Enjoy! I love your reactions, keep it up! Have a great day!
Just for a comparison, check out the cover of the same song by Post Modern Jukebox, a rotating collection of musicians and singers put to gather by Scott Bradlee
Good job ladies, now there are 2 Adams’. Cowboy hat man Chris is the beat boxer Adam’s brother. They started the group. Chris left and Adam Chance took his place. So line up is Tim- bass / Adam Chance - baritone / Austin - tenor 1 / Rob / tenor 2 / and Adam Rupp beatboxing. Do I swear!
Home Free Austin Brown Tenor 1 Rob Lundquist Tenor 2 Adam Chance Baritone Tim Foust Bass Adam Rupp Beatboxer The one in the Cowboy hat Chris Rupp co founder with his brother Adam left the group and was replaced by Adam Chance 😊
The one guy you didn't mention was Chris Rupp, Adam Rupp's brother. He was a founding member. He was later replaced by Adam Chance, who goes by Chance to avoid Adam confusion. You really should check out Listen to the Music and Take Me Home Country Roads. A couple of Home Free's best covers.
If you would like a serious song then you have to listen to How Great Thou Art. They did a video in the Austrian Alps. Beautiful setting and if you want to go deeper into that watch the From the Vault version of it. Also, if you like the beatboxer then I always show this one Home Free: Drum Solo [SPM ST15]. Adam is amazing. I still say that Home Free could sing the warning label on a bottle of cyanide and make it sound appealing. Have a great day ladies!
This video has Chris Rupp Adam (beatboxer) brother and one of the founding members of the group. Chris leaves and Adam Chance (Chance)joins. Group now consists of Austin Brown- tenor, Rob Lundquist tenor (guy with glasses) Tim Foust bass Adam Rupp vocal percussionist, Adam Chance or Chance as they call him is the baritone. Here are some song recommendations for you to check out by Home Free, end of the road, Folsom prison blues, brothers in arms, Brother, American pi,e, there are more then I will recommend one or two that will blow your socks off
In all almost 300 or whatever videos, there is only one guy lost (Chris/cowboy hat). He was replaced by Chance (baritone-bass). The group had about 15 years before they started doing videos, so we don't see the multiple changes back of those early days. Austin does have really long hair now, and Tim's is short and gray, now.
This was a scene by scene recreation of Meghan's video. Where she was laying in a bed of pastel tulle, Austin was lying in a camo tarp. It is so goofy. Cowboy hat is Chris Rupp the founder of the group with Adam his brother. Chris has left in 2016 to be replaced by Chance. No other changes since then.
Watched a few of your episodes, and I'm definitely a Home Fry. You want to hear some dropped balls? You have GOT to react to Brothers in Arms by Home Free!! Then, take a peek at Listen to the Music. You may get a new sub. Thanks, and peace from Kentucky!
Adam Rupp is bear boxer, Adam chance is baritone, tim is bass , chris Rupp left group went solo cowboy hat., Rob in glasses, and the Georgia boy ,red head Austin Browne....enjoy.7bridges rd,
Chris is gone. Replaced by Chance. Those are the only changes that have been made. Check out their cover of Avicii’s Wake me up, The story of my life, and Honey, I’m good.
How about we get you introduced to Adam Rupp the beat boxer extraordinare: ( th-cam.com/video/EanKWLUaDpg/w-d-xo.html ) This will help imprint his name association to the all the percussion with Home Free. Enjoy, often times he is overlooked because you don't even notice there really is no drumset except his vocalization throughout each presentation. He makes the most unique sounds besides the drumkit. Even this video doesn't cover all of his vocalization such as the harmonica sounds and so much more. ❣ You three have way too much fun reacting, keep on keeping on......... 💯
Chris Rupp a tenor in the cowboy hat and Adam Rupp the beat boxer formed Home Free Rob Lunquist tenor with the dark beard was next to join Tim Foust Bass with a 5 octave range was next Austin Brown lead tenor was next when Chris decided to leave Adam Chance Bass and Baritone with a 4 octave range was added.
come-on ladies... know whom your reacting to! I realize it's a podcast .. etc... etc But if you enjoy the content.. pay it forward as it will come back around! peace
Hight tender Austin, Rob tender beat boxer Adam Rupp Adam chance baritone and some time bass and time bass and sometime baritone and Chris Rupp left he was baritone and he Is brother are co-founder of home free

So let's recall the collective abilities of Home Free.
-- 5 lead singers
-- 5 tenors
-- 4 baritones
-- 2 bass
-- 1 basso profundo
-- 1 whistler extaordinsire
-- 5 beat boxers/vocal percussionists
-- 1 EXCEPTIONAL beatboxer/drum kit/ vocal percussionist
-- 5 guys proficient for various genres: (Pop/Country/R&B/Rock/Gospel/Rap/HipHop/Blues/Musical theater/Comedy/Holiday/Doo Wop/AND NOW Opera..Opera!!/dancers-in- training 😉 )
Austin does a great job on When A Man Loves A Woman.
You think they can handle it? 😆
@@SargonnasIncarnate Nope! That's why it'll be fun watching their brains explode....in a good way, of course! 😉
You will love their "Butts Medley "!!
The All About That Bass from the vault video is hilarious 😂😂
Give "Brother" a listen. Their humor will definitely shine through.
A good time feeling song they do is Friends In Low Places.
Ok ladies. One more time lol. Bass - Tim, Tenor (who sang most of the lead here) Austin, Beatboxer - Adam Rupp, Beard and glasses tenor - Rob, Cowboy hat - Chris (who started the group and is the brother of the beatboxer. They also teamed up with Alabama for "Christmas in Dixie."

Great video reaction. "Listen to the Music" (Doobie Brothers) is a great one to react too. Adam Rupp's beatboxing is incredible.
I love that sustained ending note from Austin. Just fabulous.

Along with that listen to the side show Hers Ain't Mine.
Great reaction ladies! Home Free is one of my favorites...so talented!
Current lineup is: Austin Brown (Tifton, Georgia - my hometown shout out), high tenor - Rob Lundquist (Minnesota), lead tenor - Adam Chance (Florida) aka Chance, baritone - Tim Foust (Texas), basso profundo, and Adam Rupp (Mankato, Minnesota) aka Adam, beatboxer and Founding Father of the group. You girls are awesome, love your reactions. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with any of their songs, whether it's their originals or covers. They can make you laugh and they can make you cry, and love every beautiful note.🎶

Austin has a degree in musical theater. Rob is classically trained in opera, Tim (balls drop) has a 5 octave range
Adam Rupp is a 2 time world champion beatboxer
Austin Brown is the high tenor. Rob Lundquist is the lead tenor (beard and glasses). Adam Rupp the beatboxer. Chris Rupp the founder and baritone (the hat guy). They do a fun cover of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5. I'd recommend reacting to that song and to any of the Adam Rupp drum solos he does in concert.
Tim can really go that high. Mr. Super Bass has a 5 octave range. A really great song is In the Blood.

Home Free Drum Solo (SPM ST15) is the video that will teach you the beatboxer's name. Adam Rupp is top world class.
I would recommend you watch Tim on his own singing “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay” be ready for balls dropping and also being held tight.
If you would like a serious song then you have to listen to How Great Thou Art. They did a video in the Austrian Alps. Adam is amazing. I still say that Home Free could sing the warning label on a bottle of cyanide and make it sound appealing. Have a great day ladies!
Try their cover of "Crazy", " When a Man Loves a Woman", Sold",Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget", or any. Not a poor one anywhere!
Here are some song recommendations for you to check out by Home Free, end of the road, Folsom prison blues, brothers in arms, Brother, American pi,e, there are more then I will recommend one or two that will blow your socks off
Home Free "Try Everything" cover
Love your reactions
Just seeing your channel for the first time🥰
Check out Home Free: Mayday. Tim sings the lead a bit on that one.
i believe you would really enejoy Voiceplay/ Geoff Castalucci , talk about amazing bass!
home free, 'in the blood' is a powerful song
Austin Brown was the lead.
Another vote for When a Man Loves a Woman, and then listen to End of the Road.
you need to do home free versions of end of the road, when a man loves a women and aint going down till the sun comes up
Watched a few of your episodes, and I'm definitely a Home Fry. You want to hear some dropped balls? You have GOT to react to Brothers in Arms by Home Free!! Then, take a peek at Listen to the Music. You may get a new sub. Thanks, and peace from Kentucky!
While doing more HF song one song keep in mind DO NOT listen to till you done like a dozen different style songs MAYDAY WAIT WAIT WAIT
Definitely nooooo Mayday yet. Fries will tell you when you're ready 😉🥰🥰
Austin Brown looks like the European Jesus.
Nope, girls, sliding from one note to another is simply a technique. Even the most skilled singers will slide if it suits the moment of the song. 👍🏻
Adam Rupp is bear boxer, Adam chance is baritone, tim is bass , chris Rupp left group went solo cowboy hat., Rob in glasses, and the Georgia boy ,red head Austin Browne....enjoy.7bridges rd,
Two Adam's, Adam Rupp is beatboxer Adam Chance who goes by Chance is Baratone/bass
You better learn their names or else….🤣🤣🤣
Scooping (sliding up to a pitch) as an artistic choice is fine, when done out of necessity it reveals a lack of pitch control.
Chris is gone. Replaced by Chance. Those are the only changes that have been made.
Check out their cover of Avicii’s Wake me up, The story of my life, and Honey, I’m good.
Voiceplay Golden Hour, or Boy Bands in 5 Minutes
Please also react to the out takes to this! Get some tissue cuz you are going to laugh until you cry!
Hello ladies I'm new and like home free great job now meet voice play accapella the top I rec there new one , Valhalla calling, you will thank us
How about we get you introduced to Adam Rupp the beat boxer extraordinare: ( th-cam.com/video/EanKWLUaDpg/w-d-xo.html ) This will help imprint his name association to the all the percussion with Home Free. 💯
There are two Adams. Adam Chance and Adam Rupp.

Yep, and it's only a tease... You have to watch Tim Foust's "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow / Stay" to really know how high he can go.
If you love Austin you need to see when a Man loves a Woman....

Have you heard "All About That Bass" as performed by PMJ (Post Modern Jukebox)?
