Second of all, those guys in early 2000 had CRAZY aim but you cant see it perfectly in these old ass demos cause it's the crosshair, sprays and just everything about it is VERY buggy.

Old cs was way faster in terms of movement and bhop, plus there was no slowdown for jumping and start walking. You could literally bhop fast as fck like in half life.

dont forget that people played on 13" monitors (nowadas 24-27), a ball mice (nowadays an optical mouse), grafic cards and cpus which gave you sometimes only 20-30 fps (ohne software mode!) - people who were able to play on opengl were not that common... softwaremode looked like wolfenstein / doom2 ... and most people only had a couple of hours in fps (nowadays lots of people have 10k playtime overall in fps).

why? its something you should only use as an active player, but for movies and better visuals i would turn it off (i even play CS without it and you can get used to seeing the name at the bottom left corner of the screen ;)
