Welcome back to another vlog :) I am so glad you're here! Today we have some exciting news... WE GOT A PUPPY! In the vlog you'll see the first 24 hours with our SHELTIE puppy! and you'll come along as we pick our puppy up and get her adjusted to her new home. I hope your pup is settled into her new home and life by now---they are a Very Sensitive breed, so yes---such transport would be extremely tough on these young babies. We got a wonderful Sheltie pup 3 years ago and he's such a wonderful family member.
She has definitely settled in and we love her so much! Shes been the sweetest little pup

All I have to say is that you have picked the best breed. Shelties are perfect around families with children and farm animals, and due to their barking makes the the best gaurd dog. Shelties will bark at EVERY LITTLE THING regardless if its in the house or out, or if it's a stranger. If it's a threat, shelties will raise the alarm in order to protect you and your children. Shelties will even herd you and your family everywhere because that's the way of the sheltie.

The difference between the two shelties in size with her brother is worrying, she is absolutely gorgeous and I hope that everything is going well with your puppy.
Shes gone to the vet and is as healthy as can be😊 shes just small!

@@CourtneySherven Shelties vary in size. It's really nothing to worry about. My Laddie is on the small side as well. He's 10 years old and has been healthy as can be.
Just got my third sheltie he’s 8 weeks bi blue and boys he’s dramatic lol i love them get ready for a lot of barking at some point 😂❤️

@@CourtneySherven our oldest Sheltie is 13 years old his name is Rio and he was as Tiny as your little guy is, he weighs 27 lb and looks like a little fox, on the other hand are other Sheltie Daisy she weighs about 40 lb and is just a giant lug, LOL I cannot pick her up and she just turned 2 in February

Nothing like my sheltie puppy maggie was a pure love but the first nite we put her in the pet carrier an closed the door an she started to wine an cry an the only way to stop her crying I put a stuffed toy dog an as soon as she saw it she laid beside it with one paw over the stuffed dog an she went to sleep it made quite a picture.
I get my new sheltie pup next week. Her name is Ciri! 😍 Hope Belle is doing well since this video was posted.

I asked if my Athos's sister was the runt. The breeder laughed no. Athos is too big. He is 50 pounds, not fat, just BIG! & He's 12 years old now, & he's perfect 😍
Oh my thats big!! Belle is definitely small at 11lbs! My sheltie growing up was around 25-30lbs, would love to see a comparison of belle and athos😂

We got her from Winnipeg, Manitoba but live in BC. They differ in price from breeder to breeder so I would just look on websites they normally list prices or reach out to breeders to find your budget😊

How much did she cost/what is the average cost of a sheltie? 2. Can shelties live in a apartment? 3. How much they need exercise? 4. Are they social? 5. Do you recommend sheltie for a first dog? Hi! Happy to answer where I can!
1. Prices are going to vary depending on breeder so I just suggest looking in your area and determining price from there.
2. They can live in apartments but like any dog you want to make sure they have enough room to move around and enjoy life!
3. They love to run and go for walks and be with you! Not demanding like a lab, golden retriever or border collie but definitely like to move. We go for a walk every day and play fetch throughout the day frequently.
4. Pretty social, great family dogs and love to play with others normally but of course all dogs are different.
5. Definitely! I had 2 sheltie growing up and both me and my sister go one as our first dog, they make great companions!
