ok 2 things:
1. i love the filter on gaster’s voice that makes him sound like hes speaking through a radio
2. “YOUR SOUL’S BLISTERING WITH YOUR VIOLENCE, I’LL ENSURE THIS EXPERIMENT REMAINS BIASED” IS AN ABSOLUTELY INSANE LINE
The second line kinda proves he is not a proper scientist when doing an experiment, considering one of the rules is you should be as unbiased as possible when observing an experiment to not corrupt the data

Dude, the “God of War” bar during the part that references the Brandish 2 boss theme that Megalovania was based off of (since the protagonist of that game was Mars, Roman god of war) is GENIUS!

I’m also a huge fan of the chorus from all the secret bosses (though it’s a bit difficult to parse the unique lyrics, maybe we can get lyrics for each of their boss themes somewhere down the line?); all mocking the player for their efforts. For in the end, they are the same. The player hurt so many, like Jevil and Helel did, like Spamton, Pete and Solis planned to do, all to see if they could break free from the plot meant for them, just like they all wanted. And in the end, though they made it a little further than the fearsome five, the closest thing DELTA RUNE has to a creator deity stepped in personally to ensure that you’ll share their final fate as well.
Special mention must be made to Gaster’s lyrics and their general tone of grandeur. In any other context it would be the egotistical posturing of a tyrant, but as the creator and destroyer, he has every right to brag, especially considering his opponent.

Not a direct Homestuck reference actually, but it depends on you whether or not to count it.
At 2:24, Gaster mentions “the blade of the god of war.” I’m pretty sure this is a reference to Mars, the protagonist of Brandish 2, since Toby would take inspiration from that games boss theme during the creation of Megalovania.

This is an amazing video! I wanted to ask, which boss would have their soul mode changed? And what is the order? Cause we have Pete n VB and Halel, which are both green soul bosses, so one would have to be changed to include the blue soul mode. And going off the ideas that, 1. The soul modes go in reverse of their UNDERTALE counterparts, and 2. Chapter 3 is TV while Chapter 4 is Church, that would mean that the order is broken. So I wanted to get your own personal intake.
I believe that it will go in the reverse of the normal Undertale order, but there weren’t enough fanmade Chapter 4 secret bosses to take that in mind. Halel was the most popular one I could find, so I traded out the Soul colors for recognizability. I’ll remake this video whenever the full game comes out
