This is Psychologist Aisha, I'd love to share my views on this video. 1. It's good that the parent is supportive of therapy. I'm also happy that you took 'self-confidence' as the concern instead of taking complicated disorders and making fun of them. This conveys the message that you don't need to have some major problem to visit a therapist. You can talk to one to improve the quality of life as well. 2. The techniques shown are actual 'Drama therapy' methods used during treatment. 3. But therapists don't usually do therapy outside of their workspace and will not behave in such a way that the client develops feelings on them. Transference might occur in rare cases but we don't share over-friendly smiles or touches like she does. 4. Therapy is supposed to be given only by trained individuals and not as same as some random person giving ideas/advise for the same price. 5. Parents are not allowed to observe therapy sessions unless it's family therapy. 6. This video portrays therapy in a positive light. Thanks to the team for touching on this topic. Though it was a comedy video, I hope it helps people take their mental health seriously and get professional help when needed ❤

@@km-qu8du okay so a client and a therapist can't date or be in any kind of relationship (even friends). The relationship that they have it strictly professional. Even though the client or a therapist can develop feelings for each other and technically we call it Transference. In that case.. the therapists tries to handle it themselves by discussing it with their supervisor or in difficult situations refers the client to another therapist..and cut the contact in all forms with the client. So even after a year if, both the parties feel the same. Then they can date.
