It's interesting how those who suffer from depression often find rain soothing. Maybe it's because the rest of the world quiets down when it rains. I sometimes see the world as a bustling, messy beehive, constantly agitated and noisy. But when it rains, Society slows down, the streets get emptier, calmer... the usual cacophony of the city's thousand noises gets replaced, with only the pitter-patter of the rain filling the air. To all my fellow tormented souls, I wish you to find peace.

As a child i use to sneak out of my bed at night with my dog and I would take a blanket and go and sleep on the porch just to be closer to the rain,to smell it ,to hear it was just so cozy and relaxing 😍

Four years ago I was dreaming about meeting my best friend who lives in Australia (I live in Ukraine) and it seemed completely unreal, in a year we met and this year we’re gonna catch up again! Same as I would be laying down and dreaming of visiting Paris one day, guess what, I did! Everything’s possible :)
i have no idea why, but these videos helps calm my mind down (i have asbergers, adhd, anxiety and depression) my mind is constantly going and, never shuts down, body never relaxes. But these videos helps to drown the mind with the gentle constant sound of rain. Gives me a opportunity to fall asleep quicker instead of turning in the bed for 2 hours before finally falling asleep.

As a child, my only two friends both had forms of moderate Aspergers, and sometimes I found it quite difficult to deal with such different working minds. I closed the window, pulled the curtain down, turned on the cold air conditioner, and opened this video. The rain made me remember my childhood days, when it rained all day, my sister and I were in our old house, studying or playing, waiting for my parents to return after a day of work; then we had dinner together, watched TV, and then went to sleep. There was no internet, no facebook, no smartphone ... just the sound of rain like that, with trees, with insects, slightly chilly weather and feeling of peace.
It's raining like this tonight where I am. I watched about 30 minutes of this video and then went outside and walked around the block in just a T-shirt and jeans.I embraced the sensation. It's like it cleansed my soul.
This video is comforting to me. It reminds me of the park I used to go at night to run at, and I loved it. Nobody was around, and it was nice and quiet. I saw the ducks in their usual spots, settling down to sleep. I moved and there are no places like this to go to here at night.
I listen to this almost ever night. Works insanely well for trying to fall asleep, letting your mind run with some simple rainfall in the background. 😌

I cannot express how these videos have changed my life. I'm housebound at the moment recovering from cancer and I cant walk out I love the rain...it frees me and I feel with these videos I am getting to experience London without sitting on a train or a tube to get there. Jeff the killer duvet is a zip or button thin ( can be designer) blanket that u put a down comforter inside. Some call a down comforter a duvet. According to who u ask really. Hope that helped.

It's raining like this tonight where I am. I watched about 30 minutes of this video and then went outside and walked around the block in just a T-shirt and jeans.I embraced the sensation. It's like it cleansed my soul.
This video is comforting to me. It reminds me of the park I used to go at night to run at, and I loved it. Nobody was around, and it was nice and quiet. I saw the ducks in their usual spots, settling down to sleep. I moved and there are no places like this to go to here at night.

this is probably the best sounding rain video to fall asleep or relax to. The lightness of the rain sounds and water droplets hitting the cement sounds so reminiscent of such a scene in real life. love it!
I cannot express how these videos have changed my life. I'm housebound at the moment recovering from cancer and I cant walk out I love the rain...it frees me and I feel with these videos I am getting to experience London without sitting on a train or a tube to get there. I love all the areas you cover but especially East London. God bless you for your efforts in this you tube channel

Jeff the killer duvet is a zip or button thin ( can be designer) blanket that u put a down comforter inside. Some call a down comforter a duvet. According to who u ask really. Hope that helped.

People complaining about the rain not being loud enough, but I like the fact it's quiet. A lot of videos with a title "gentle rain sounds" are not actually that gentle sounding.
This reminds me of a couple months ago when it was lunch at school and it started raining and me and my friend were playing in the rain. I hope it rains again so I can experience it again.
