Wow! Great finished project. The light really catches the rhinestones. I really enjoyed the video. It would have been really cool to see the original jeans that gave you this inspiration since I don't think that you duplicated it exactly, going by what you narrated in the video. So did the ones on Topshop have more than one row of the stones? Were they overlapping?. I think I just might try this but it will be with a thrifted pair of jeans to bring down the cost. Thanks for sharing and continued blessing in 2019.

Yeah, it wasnt an exact duplicate. The topshop jeans had beading sewn on aswell as rhinestones.
I'm not sure if they overlapped, as I've never actually seen them in person. Though it seems they used thinner items, so were able to add alot more than i did.

I thought the jeans were regular length that brush the top of ur foot. I kept thinking...these chains are going to be dragging on the ground. I didnt have much hope on the outcome. Boy, was I wronged! They were kind of a long capri length jean. They ended up looking super chic and boutique looking !!! As though you spent a pretty penny on them. How do you wash them? Just soak in water in a bathtub and hang dry? I would totally rock these !!!!

The e6000 has a pack I think on amazon with a tube ,that you fill up for better accuracy .check it out for your next project .I love when people customize their clothes .You literally just did what they would do in a workshop,why pay💯

Thank you! I havent tried washing them in the machine, as it may ruin them. I would gently wash by hand instead 💕

Great idea but should have use a ruler for a straight edge. Putting painters tape on edge of ruler and replace with clean tape each turn. Pretty!

I didnt feel it needed to be that precise, since it would be dangling and moving around. Plus it wouldve taken way too long lol.
@@ItsCharntz It wouldn't have taken long at all as painters tape removes easily...that is why it does not damage surfaces you are painting plus if I am sitting next to you and you cross your leg...you will not fool me into thinking you paid 125 pounds for those. I thought that was the entire point. Quality takes a little time. Cheap is easy...just saying. I appreciate your thought....

The jeans are cute no matter how much she paid for them! They fit nicely. It is possible to pay a small fortune and look a steaming hot mess. Confidence is *always* the best accessory.

Great suggestion Dee Dee !!! ... BUT I would omit the tape as too time consuming and added tediousness ... Stiff straight edge such as ruler for applying glue by using ruler as guide to run glue along...as well as when laying the strips of sparkles by using rulers thicker edge to line them up ... Seems would save time & effort.. HOWEVER I would wipe glue off quickly between glue applications with a damp cloth or paper towel ...then quickly swipe it to dry & move to next ... Works very well and efficient in my head ...Ha Ha .. .JUST LOVE this design !!! WELL DONE !!!

Looks AMAZING! For longevity I wonder if Fabri Tac glue would work better. It's permanent washable glue made specifically for fabric. Then maybe tack with thread every few inches.

A few people have mentioned using fabric glue also. I never knew there was such a thing at the time of filiming this.

How do you wash these? Like handwash programme and putting the jeans into a pillow case? I love this tutorial!!
Thank you! I gently wash them by hand. Personally, I wouldnt put them in the washing machine im too scared to lol. But I suppose you could try using a pillowcase and see what happens 💕

Ive only worn them once. I washed them by hand and was extra careful. The rhinestones are still in perfect condition 💕

No, the glue had tips on them already.
Why Why WHY didn't you draw lines and make it straight? P.S. make the lines longer on the outside of the leg.

You can get machine washable E600 glue, as for the rhinestones, I'm not sure.
