The lighting in all your builds is honestly so perfect >_< I take all my sim pictures in or around your homes lol literally some of my fav builds in the sims 4 !! your landscaping is always stunning as well!! You did such a great job on the Click photo studio and last time I had the game running, I thought to myself "I should ask Schnuck to consider building a Beauty Salon!" So in the copious free time you probably don't have, please consider it. :-)

@@Schnuck01 I have so many ugly NPC type sims running around my game. I was thinking maybe a retail business that would bring in sims to buy small beauty things like the suntan lotion, etc., and I could get the ones that need makeovers into the chair while they're there. I know there are easier ways to change an ugly or badly dressed sim, but a shop seems a more fun way to do it. (Edit to add I use no mods)

Personally, my houses look great inside (even though I don't know about the existence of a create a style tool in the build mode, if you know a mod, please tell us) but they look too weird and eccentric outside. Could you give me some advice?

No, I never studied interior design or architecture in a school setting, I did study my dollhouses and all the model homes my mom took me too as a child lol and I drew a lot of floor plans when I was a kid 😂 My advice would be to check your thumbnail often, I always build the exterior first and don't move on until I am satisfied with the thumbnail. Now, if we could use our own pictures for thumbnails things would be much, much different.
I love this house so much I’m currently doing the black widow challenge and I think it’s a perfect house for my sim ! I don’t have all the packs but I’ll make it work ! Maybe add some cc ♥️
Thank you! There will be A LOT of stuff missing The Fireplace is all JTB The open skylight was made with a JTB door frame, not even sure how that will turn out w/o the pack. I refused to buy it at first too, but it was on sale and I knew what I was getting and wasn't disappointed, actually a little shocked with all the potential, tbh - and Strangerville still remains my least favorite pack. I'm sure I will never play the JTB game play part, but some of the stuff is not bad, not bad at all =)

@@anna_abelito The roof beams at the entrance to the house were made with 'lines in the wall' from Eco Lifestyle and they were rotated with TOOL, which is an amazing mod that won't flag your build as cc and isn't required for the downloader to have in their game and the objects will stay rotated. The ceiling was made with roofing: glass roof and then I layered the straw roof from Island living underneath a regular roof - the roof walls I removed by using 2 door frames and sized them down to almost invisible with TOOL.
how did you get the black bars as the roof of the front porch shown at 0:31? i'm trying to use the City Living Slate Tile objects and rotate them using t.o.o.l. but it isn't working. I would like to use this design in a build but can't figure it out. Beautiful build, though! Thank you!
Thank you! place a deck piece somewhere and rotate the bars on the deck piece placing them exactly how you would want them in the place you're going to put them and then move the deck piece to where you want the bars and then delete deck piece.
Did you use T.O.O.L? i've just started using it so if that's what you used, i'll have to play around with it a little until I get it to work because it won't rotate for me :(
