- I teamed up with fellow barbershop enthusiast @BarbershopTagAlong to cover a rendition of Mesmerized by Jake Kynaston!
2 extra parts were added for enhanced flavour. (this tag didn’t deserved to be defaced by harmony that is any crazier)
Thank you so much for having me on your channel, Sophie!! It was an absolute pleasure to sing with you!! ❤
The 6 part harmony is like taking a chocolate cake and adding a cream filling in the middle ❤😄
hahah i love that comparison. if i’ve learned anything, it’s that barbershop has a lot of similarities with food theory. harmony can be tasty, flavourful, soft, smooth, velvety, crunchy or spicy and they’re all very distinguished from one another!
Absolutely gorgeous. The first long chord in the 6 part harmony slapped me in the face with beauty 🥺
🥹 thank you eline
Just something amazing about harmony. When them chords hit just right & form chill bumps on the forearms...👉🏾 💆🏾♂️
Can't even express in words how harmony touches my soul. Love it.
Gosh that six-part harmony is simply gorgeous. That overtone at the end was the icing on the cake! I hope you two do more collabs in the future!
Absolutely gorgeous! Takes me back to choir days! Love it!
Didn't expect this collab, but can't say I'm dissapointed! :D
This is absolutely heavenly
Ayyy Great job! Love seeing collaborations like this!
this is crazy
Adorable!❤
Beautiful!
love it
Beautiful! You should do more videos with him! And maybe you could try more jazz tunes (a cappella)?
Very nice!
So Fine!!!
yay
Why not write the treble clef in in the regular octave (without the 8)?
Barbershop originated as a male quartet type of activity, so they usually write most of their music in tenor clef (which is the same as treble clef down an octave) for that mostly lower range
@@EeveeLol just so you know, treble clef down an octave is not tenor clef, it's treble clef 8vb, tenor clef is a c clef that used to be used for tenor voices, but has only been used for the high range of bass instruments since the 1800s
So tasty! 🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
1:15 mmm
Amazing!
Is this an actual song? If yes, what's the name of it?
What's going on here? What is this type of music called? I'm thinking 'church stuff'. It's awesome.
This style is called "barbershop."
1st very cool once again
Very nice!
