The part at the south end of Rockhill yard when the train turns around, in the future the train will be going farther that way toward Saltillo and beyond. They will rebuild the wye at Saltillo and eventually rehab the two tunnels. They are working on clearing and rebuilding the track toward Pogue bridge right now. I think they have to replace all the ties, lay new ballast, and relay the rails and clear trees from the ROW. And rebuild grade crossings and add new signal and signs. The track that way was dormant since 1956.
The quality of both the video & the audio is superb! I especially enjoyed the arial views. What was most refreshing to me was being able to see this high-quality video & enjoy the uninterrupted sounds of the train. I realize you can't cram the entire route into just 16 minutes, but perhaps in the future you could produce longer video that does. I will enjoy watching this wonderful video many more times! Thanks!
