What brand are the wheels and what is the size, offset and tyre size on them? I have a GC8 as well and will be doing a brembo conversion shortly and those wheels fit and look awesome. Thanks.
It was being used on the standard box for a while but kept destroying it at the drag strip. Switched it out for a 2000 sti 5 speed and diff which held up better.
Turbo was a brand new Precision 5530 'bolt on' stock position unit. They tend to be quite whiny units when we put the feelers out with Precision about it.
Tweaks Developments I've just bought/fitted the same turbo - mines silent (few videos on the channel) but then the iPhone I record off makes the engine sound like a tractor haha
There's hope then that not everybody with one will have a car that sounds like the Enterprise ;) hopefully its been addressed by now. At the time this was fitted there wasn't many Imprezas running them 20-30ish and we enquired and found a few were similar in noise. Very good turbo,good choice Aaron
sunny1989 Cheers sunny. They are a very light reasonably priced wheel which is why they are being used on these imprezas. The black one has big changes under way so I'll try and sort some more videos when I've got it finished and mapped :)
This is on an aftermarket programmable ecu Dominik. It was an Alcatek ecu which is quite dated now and nearly impossible to get support or programming kits for. Would be much better to run a Link G4X now for all the features you could want.

Look at the launch for the first 10 feet. That's one of the biggest reasons I love Subies.

Tweaks Developments what bhp/torque did you'd manage from it with engine spec? My 2.1 managed 472bhp/415
It made 480/440 on just V-power @ 1.7bar on a stock 2.0ltr 2004 sti bottom end with ported and polished v4 sti heads.
what's your exhaust configuration??? equal headers??
Gt spec headers (unequal) and up pipe and a titanium exhaust.
Are you running stock internals?

Yes it is,these Precision units seem to be quite whiny.
