LAHORE ZOO SAFARI EXTENSION OF LAHORE ZOO:
Lahore Zoological Gardens since its existence is conserving wildlife and educating the masses.With the passage of time its animal collection goes on increasing and visitor statistics as well. Being located in the heart of city of Lahore, Lahore Zoo management is trying to bring the zoo at par with international zoos community. For this purpose it is very necessary to extend its boundaries, animal collection, conservation stratigies, and its education awareness programs. In the light of above considerations, on 21st, January, 2009 Lahore Wildlife Park was re-designated as Lahore Zoo Safari and its management was given under the control of Zoo Maintenance Committee (Z.M.C) headed by the Chairman/Director General, wildlife & Parks, Punjab
The species housed here include Indian peafowl, Bengal tiger, common pheasant, emu, lion, mute swan, nilgai, ostrich and silver pheasant among a few others. The largest walkthrough aviary of Pakistan is located in the Lahore Zoo Safari. Boating and fishing facilities have been developed near a lake.[1] The lake is the biggest in the city, complete with four islands. There are also safari tracks in the lion and Bengal tiger areas, covering an area of 80 acres (32 ha).[2] It has been recently renamed as Lahore Safari Zoo

I m very impressed to see the park.. but also disappoint to see public behaviour regarding clean and manners
Good to hear from you the project director sahb. Happy to see the animals being segregated on the basis of their habitats but we still miss a lot of antelops from africa like wildebeest, eland, oryx etc. Kindly import them and make the part of it. Likewise we can have emu, rhea, cassawory etc. We can have a separate area for herpetology.

Worst Experience Ever! On this Eid
I don't know kia renovate kia hai. Siway kisi politician ki name plate ky.
Hmary liye facilities kya honi thi, udhr animals ka bura haal tha. Deer safari mn grass or water name ki koi cheez nzr ni aai, jidhr daikho animals ka bura haal tha garmi or pani ki kami ki wja sy.
Agr baat krain hmari facilities ki, tu koi bhi direction board, information kahin ni thi, just entrance pr ek map tha bs.
Isky ilawa, entrance ticket 100 Rs, Lion safari 300 Rs, Aquarium Safari 200 Rs, or kisi bhi jga electric vehicle pr jana hotu 200 Rs per person. Or hr jga jo staff tha wo lootny mn masroof tha. Ticket price actual kuch or hoti thi or wo log kuch or charge krky pesy apni pocket mn add krdety thy.
Canteen ki baat kron tu udhr bhi loot mar thi, i know asi jga hr cheez mehngi hoti, but idhr tu extra hi mehngi thi. Or uski price or quality pr koi check ni tha, kbhi ek juice bottle 150 ki dety thy or kbhi 200 ki. 5 minutes mn price badal jati thi.
Overall worst experience ever hai mery liye and Please asi misleading video mat bnain jisy daikh kr awam apna paisa or time waste krain.
Jb bhi video bnain tu information ko recheck krleni chye.

I visited 2nd day of eid with family. Totally opposite things are there. No professionalism is there. They opened just for earning money with out giving any facility. Charging pk ( 100+200+300)for one person +car parking also Charging extra and there officials are compared with European countries. Don't miss guide people. Please improve your standard according amount you are receiving and put proper experience staff.
One more suggestion, please arrange parking space inside in different locations and take parking charges but clear roads and traffic. No 👎 👎 👎.
