I will always say "FURITEK FOR THE WIN " I love furitek stuff I've almost got all my rigs swapped over to the lizard 10 ESC... Their motors are awesome to without doubt but I still love my HH revolvers and 3Bro yellow jackets
But honestly if you're just looking to dabble into outrunners to see if u like them or not , surpass hobby outrunner motors are pretty dang good for the money ! 39$ ! U can't beat it !

I’m curious why you need another tx/receiver it says on their site but doesn’t say anything more. Which receiver should you buy? Can you continue to use the stock controller or do you need to upgrade that also?

It's been a month and I'm still waiting for Axial/Horizon to send me two UTB18 upgrades. Conversely, Yeah Racing and Injora have fulfilled my orders ahead of when promised. That is a really nice 'Plug-N-Play' brushless system, and your visuals are most helpful. I hope they sell a boatload of em'. But I have no want or need to spend 48% of the entire RC's cost when hopefully Holmes(or someone) will assuage us more cost concious pragmatists with a simple BRUSHED drop-in at 1/3 the cost.
Really interested in the mini Capra … any good waterproof options for it yet?

So I thought when they said direct replacement i thought you don't need a receiver in addition to this, Am I just tired or what, what am I missing. I have the motor and ESC and so now I have to search for a receiver?
Will a 16 tooth pinion gear work with a 800kv motor with the punch set at 3 with a max 5 esc. Without striping the gears out in the diffs on the big fox buggy.
Hey man love your channel been watching your videos for years now I had 2 questions. Does the vitavon kraton 8s bellcrank work on the outcast 8s and 2nd is what is the xlx2 and 1100kv gearing combo u found best for the outcast 8s without hitting the overload or to much amp draw and having it cost out. I'm building a exb for me and got a rtr for my kid so the exb is what the xlx2 combo is going into. Thanks and keep up the bashing videos
He has some good videos on that go back and look I think he was running 1 to 1 gearing on his outcast 8s .
It’s been two months and multiple emails to horizon and still no word back on my tires for my outcast8s. Came so flat spotted out of the box I can’t drive it. Tried everything I know to try to get the flat spot out with no luck. Haven’t even been able to run one pack threw it. To late to return too

If you check out Matt's build 2fmrc I switched it out with the fury Tech low Center gravity chassis and their motor and ESC man in that thing goes like a champ I want to see a video of like the ultimate build out of a 110 crawler maybe like G speed v4
Super unhappy with the Furitek system in my UTB18, the transition between the low-speed FOC and normal speed is harsh and jerky. The thing stalls out under load any time the tire gets bound up. Updated firmware and have spent probably 2 hours messing with settings and it still makes no difference.
Also, don't believe the perfect 5 star rating they have, they sent an email asking for a review, I left a 3 star review and it says it is pending, they won't publish it, submitted it a few times now. The funny thing is that I have seen a 5 star review show up after I submitted my 3 star.
I've talked about the transition many times. I've chatted with Furitek themselves about it. I don't think the board can do it as smoothly as the Holmes CMMV2 can.
@ExocagedRC I have a Furitek system in my FMS Atlas, the transition isnt perfect in that either, but it has never really bothered me, the one in the Capra is WAY worse. I have a V1 Crawlmaster in my LCG build and it is awesome. I wish I would have gone with a Crawlmaster and a 380 Revolver for the Capra.

The Capra just doesn’t do anything for me , I’ve seen them at the club and never wanted one . I’m hoping for something cool and new soon in crawler world.
