If you go to Joey the baby sea otter they have a 24/7 livestream of a sea otter pup that you get to watch grow up. He is at Vancouver Aquarium and was tescued at 10 days old after possible mum (adult female) was found dead nearby. Joey is now 4 months old and is meeting the other resident otters

The cuteness almost hurts. I don't think I could resist take my hands of the little guy. It's just so instinctive to cuddle something that cute and never put him down. I wonder, do otters feel that way about each other?

I know they’re never meant to be a domesticated animal, but in a case like this, where they would die in the wild, it’s just so nice to know there’s people in this world kind enough to make sure they have a happy life and stay healthy, so where do I sign up? Spending my entire life in the city, I’ve never been exposed to anything more than a cat, A dog, squirrels, and pigeons, but I would give almost anything to be able to play with an otter if only for a short while. They are the most adorable creatures I’ve ever seen in my life, I love the little noises they make, where they move around in the water, and just like me, how hyper they are, I know I’d get along with them just fine! If ever you guys need volunteers to help out, send me a private message and I’ll be there in a heartbeat! I want one! But not as a house pet, because that would be cruel, and dangerous, as when they get fully grown they tend to get quite rambunctious and wild, they need to be in their natural habitat with other otters, but just to be around them and let them come up to me, would be a dream come true!
