The ancient city of bishapoor Iran (4k)|شهر باستانی بیشاپور

It is one of the ancient cities of Iran in the central part of Kazerun and in Fars province, which was built during the Sassanid period, and its ruins remain today, and on 04/09/1397, it was finally registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the Bahrain Summit.Bishapur was built in 266 AD by the order of Sassanid King Shapur I. After Shapur's victory over the Roman emperor Valerian, Shapur ordered to build a city in an area with good climate on the way to Persepolis. During the Achaemenid period, this road connected the cities of Persepolis and Ashtrak to Susa. Shapur gave his name to this city. An architect from the people of ancient Syria called Epsai was chosen to build the new city.

یکی از شهرهای باستانی ایران در بخش مرکزی کازرون و در استان فارس است که در زمان ساسانیان ساخته شده‌است و امروزه ویرانه‌های آن برجای مانده‌است و در ۱۳۹۷/۰۴/۰۹ به ثبت نهایی در میراث جهانی یونسکو در اجلاس بحرین رسید.بیشاپور به سال ۲۶۶ میلادی و به دستور شاپور اول پادشاه ساسانی ساخته شده‌است. پس از پیروزی شاپور بر والرین امپراتور روم، شاپور دستور داد در ناحیه‌ای خوش آب و هوا بر سر راه تخت جمشید به تیسفون شهری بنا کنند. این جاده در زمان هخامنشیان، شهرهای تخت جمشید و استخر را به شوش وصل می‌کرد. شاپور نام خود را بر این شهر نهاد. معماری از اهالی سوریه قدیم به نام اِپسای برای ساخت شهر تازه انتخاب شد
