nice list 💥 however that couple of light up the stage doesn't convince me at all (I play burn in every format).. isn't better the last 3x1 burn spell (skewer the critics)? or maybe you can draw using the ability of some lands like sunbaked canyon instead of paying for the spectacle of light up. spectacle is always a risk with free counterspells around (critics almost does damage). anyway the 90% of the deck is that

I built burn in modern and I love it, always fun to play at a tournament when I just wanna fling bolts at people's head 😂, I think im gonna build your mana less dredge build, seems really cool and reasonable powerful. Great content as always!!
I'm new to the format and was wondering if there was any legacy deck similar to lantern control? it's my fave moden deck lol.
Like the list tbh I love light up the stage myself, that I put in 3x and 3x lava spike. I opt for 2x maddening hex instead of 2x roiling vortex main, instead they are in the side. I run 4x prismatic vista to thin out the deck and 2x Barbarian ring main also for more damage at threshold

Burn is better in Modern because the format is slower and people play shocklands
My side for burn 4x dead // gone, 2x roiling vortex, 3x smash to smithereen, 1x meltdown, 2x unlicensed hearse, 3x faerie macabre
Rift bolt suspended with Roiling Vortex does 5 damage to yourself. You should play Skewer the Critics over rift bolt.

Thats why I love burn. You can play 3formats with just one deck lol
I play Roiling Vortex in modern, the main deck at my LGS. We have a lot of Cascade decks. So it's just easier to play it main.
you can bring us some monogreen?, like an stompy or a green devotion for example?

why is pyroblast used and not red elemental blast. just curious, theres no difference between them
Pyroblast can target anything, but only does something if the target is blue. Red Elemental Blast can only target blue things. Basically you can use Pyroblast to pad out prowess even if it effectively does nothing overall. However Red Elemental Blast can't even be cast unless it's target is blue.
