    This Evoque First Edition MSRP was: $59,215. What are your thoughts? Lots of tech and capability in a small package!
    *Thanks for watching and have a great day!*

    Wow! What a nice Range Rover. The color, the styling(inside &out). The interior ambient lighting on new cars is growing on me. Great review as usual.

      Yes definitely! It’s fun to have at night and can usually be turned off or down which is nice. Thank you very much 😁👍

    Mind-blowing in a good way. Too many features to comment but impressive. Four screens is so exceptional.

      Yeah it is super feature rich. I had no idea they packed this much into this vehicle. Pretty cool!

    Ah the Range Rover... so nice to look, but a nightmare to own. I’ve always like the styling of these, and I totally agree with you on the rear visibility. It’s just bad they have horrible reliability and dismal resale value. I remember soon after I started in the car business (late 2006) we got in a 2004 Discovery II. I loved the look of that thing and it felt like you were in charge when you drove it. It was a steal and I wanted it bad, but my boss flat out refused to sell it to me. He talked me into a 2004 RX330 instead and I thank him to this day for it!

    This is very nice all the way around, but not worth $60k all cause of the powertrain & reliability history. I'm truly digging the blue color. Does the door handles have keyholes? Does the top screen on the dash flip inside? I know you was hot cause that driver of that SUV acted like they couldn't turn, while you were waiting to make your left turn 🤭. Excellent review my friend!!

    Good review Nolan!!! Love that you give your true feelings and observances!!! I like the color. This Evoque is nice to look at but not to own. Range Rovers aren't known for being dependable. So sick of 2.0 turbo 4 bangers. Manufacturers have lost their engine individuality. Bring back V6's!!!

    We have a 6 month old example as a courtesy car whilst our i-Pace is in getting a sensor replaced. We are both very impressed I have been a fan for a while as I have had a fair bit of driving under my belt with previous generations but my wife has never been on board with this being added to our driveway. She doesn't like to admit it but she has been very impressed and it could be a contender for a replacement vehicle in September. Our only worry is that having been stung with a breakdown on our Discovery Sport that was not to be covered under warranty until Land Rover stepped up and paid for the parts and a courtesy car for 8 weeks is that the warranties are not so good on second hand cars. It is still a contender and they are awesome off road for anything that we need it to do i.e. get to a riverbank down a rough track or cross a grass field.

    Great review Nolan. This is the best x4x by far and looks stunning. Unfortunately reliability might be an issue according to many surveys. Regardless I would love one on my drive! :-))

      Thank you Andrew! For sure, super cool and a nice ride but it’s a bummer Sky it’s reputation for reliability 😕

    You mentioned the road noise could be heard in the cabin, and road bumps could be felt, do you think this would be a dealbreaker to purchase an envoque?

    This was really helpful. Would you suggest getting the 18 inch wheels instead and non-panoramic roof?

    • @PrimeAutotainment
      @PrimeAutotainment  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad to hear it! The larger wheels look awesome but for better rise comfort...I would go with the 18” wheels. As for the pano roof that’s all up to you. Driving it you don’t seem to notice it too much but backseat passengers would appreciate it

      Prime Autotainment thank you so much. I’m looking to purchase the evoque and you have given the best review. Minute details included this is what makes me think about not getting pano due to the sounds you heard.

    You made a statement about mild hybrid not being in the model you were showing . As this is a “First Edition” car it has the R- dynamic pack as default and therefore is a mild hybrid.

    • @PrimeAutotainment
      @PrimeAutotainment  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I looked back at the material they gave me and it states it has the R-dynamic exterior pack...but still shows the P250 engine and specs/MPG for that. It’s still just the actual R-Dynamic trim level that gets the mild hybrid as far as I can see, despite this having the “exterior pack”

    • @Reactor-hl9bc
      @Reactor-hl9bc 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Prime Autotainment On digging a bit more, and bearing in mind this is a U.K. perspective only, all petrol/diesel engines in the line up are equipped with MHEV. The trim level is irrelevant. The only exception is an entry level FWD model. Anyway enjoyed the video .

      Reactor 1956 that makes sense! I didn’t think to ask about what market. Things differ a lot even between US and Canadian markets too. Glad you said something and thanks for watching!

      @@PrimeAutotainment Yep, R Dynamic "appearance package" is available on the First Edition, it does not have the 296 horse mild hybrid. Just leased a 2020 black R Dynamic hybrid; very happy!
