Jamel, Love Albert Collins!! His album 'Ice Pickin' ' is a masterpiece. Try his "Honey Hush", "Too Tired" or "Frosty". He has his own tuning, and you may have noticed the capo down above the 4th fret. Saw him live in a small club, and with a long guitar cord he went outside and jammed in the street for one song. On 13 July 1985, Collins performed with George Thorogood and the Destroyers at Live Aid, appearing as guest soloist on "Madison Blues". He was also had a small part in the movie 'Adventures In Babysitting".

What a great show that must have been. B.B. and SRV both cited Jimi Hendrix as an influence. Which is amazing to me. B.B. King was familiar with many contemporary Rock & Blues guitarist. I've heard B.B. King talk about Robin Trower and Tampa Red in the same sentence. Never stop learning, growing and creating. That was how these guys lived.
