I've said this for a while now but the academic part of the scholarships should be going to people that want to actually attend the University. Since college football is just a big business based on money then they don't need to go to class anymore what's the point? Cut them the check and play football end of story

Eventually college football players will be like those guys that be on campus that’s not enrolled. Yet they eat in the caff and be in the rec rooms shooting pool and stuff.. lol college football just said to hell with education. lol

YEP no bueno IMO, NCAA is not sustainable for the long term, wish we would have cancelled them long ago. Schools are just paying their bills now it appears.
If these kids want to get paid then they also need to pay their own tuition, room and board, food, tutoring, medical care, etc. They are getting hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for being an athlete but that wasn't enough and they wanted more. It's only fair that now that they have the financial means to do it they should be made to pay for all those things out of their pocket. And the schools can use that money to fund the athletic programs that don't make money.

And I am not saying all of them should be treated this way. Let them decide if they want to remain an amateur and receive all of those benefits or choose to be a professional and have access to NIL and the revenue sharing, but you have to pay your way. Make it a business decision.

IMG Blue (The National Team) cannot play for a state championship but they can still win a national championship. IMG White is the state team and can go to the play offs and win a state title and win a national championship.
All the kids use to have chance to get free schooling all the small schools can’t afford this so I guess they they will have to drop sports so who’s losing? The kids. So if you’re not a high three star the majority of the kids won’t get a chance for education and with this economy the way it is I don’t think most people can afford school costs
