      _In theory_ it's possible there are bad people just posing as police (or corrupt cops) or just using police detainment equipment, so I see what he can be talking about.

      There are tons of cases of people posing as Police in Unmarked cars. So again, though you may not think anything is up to begin with, there might in fact be something off when you get into the unmarked car and you need to get away. idk how many cases there of this that pop up all the time.

      There are few scenarios that spark a blaze of police activity more than an escaped prisoner. It's just a really really bad idea.

    Everyone needs to watch your channel, each one worthy to be watched and listened to more than once, then purchase what they can, then the most important of all , is practice with those tools until you can do blind folded, please don't buy these tools, put them away for a rainy day if you know what i mean . Practice makes perfect . In most cases time will be very short for you to effectively accomplish your task of escape. If you just buy any tool and don't ever use until an emergency arises , you might as well give them to someone who will cause you ain't got a snow ball in hell chance of making it threw what looks like whats coming at us , like it, or not. Vietnam Vet, L.R.R.P. God Bless America, and all who practice what they preach!!!!

    Small bobby pins work great if you bend a tip but the black ones tend to be cheaper metal and will break off in the handcuffs locking you indefinitely, the gold or brown bobby pins by goody are made of good metal and can be bent multiple times before breaking.

      I do agree, but y'know, legalities probably keep the good man from helping out the "criminals" in our society. I'd say it's CYA legalese stuff, but all the info is out there for the finding! You only have to watch the news to see the abuse of power Police are guilty of.

    u dont need tip to unlock double lock handcuff keys for the lanyard type key, its only needed to lock the double lock. thats a pretty cool key but only if u r wearing a jacket or windbreaker

  • @SpecialOpsM4
    @SpecialOpsM4 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you're trying to remove yourself from handcuffs, having the tip on the opposing end of a handcuff key doesn't matter at all. To unlock a double lock handcuff, insert the key and turn right, then left, or left, then right, depending on manufacturer. The pin is used to set double lock once fitment is achieved and has nothing to do with removing handcuffs that have been double locked. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

    one problem is that part of this tools might be illegal in other countries. In Poland simply posession of a lockpick (without proper licence) can get You into trouble. Not sure how this concealed blades would be treated in Australia or UK.
    But then You go for everyday objects like hairpins or razorblades and this choice can be legal choice.
    Stay safe and stay legal

    Awesome video -- now I'm hooked at least until you get through subsequent tutorial videos :P. Seriusly though, you've really got a good thing going here. I'd bet that formatting video serieses like this in the future would keep all of us on the edge of our seats. Greyman E&E equipment, followed by explanation videos; Then Pioneering equipment, with tutorials; etc equipment, with etc tutiorials. :) Just a thought. ...Maybe throwing reviews and comparisons for different tools in with the tutorials would be useful too. Anyway, Keep up the good work BlackScout!

    Statistically - in every city, county, and state in the US - where there are more Police patrolling, there is more crime. If they were keeping the peace the numbers would be exactly the opposite. The areas with the most Police should be the safest areas there are, and yet 100% of the time the crime rate increases when the amount of Police 'Force' is increased. Since those numbers are true we are left to conclude that the Police must be in cahoots with the criminals. Or that they are in fact the criminals. Remember, ARREST = Having all of your Natural Rights simultaneously violated by someone in a costume. If violence never solves the problem, and it is never the answer (as we all learned growing up) then how does a person who's only advantage is carrying around violence going to help anyone or solve any problem?

      Good video here. If you want to be a survivor but you can't spell your own State correctly, that is a potentially huge problem! Especially for a guy named English!!!!....Oh the irony!!! You need to get some reading and writing lessons and tighten that up a bit. Arizona is spelled exactly the way it's pronounced. Imagine if you lived in my State......Massachusetts??? With all the streets, towns, islands, rivers and lakes etc. with extra long Native American names even longer than the state?? Pemigewassett, Mashantucket, Chickataubut, Nanepashemet, Wonohaquaham and God forbid you ever feel like going fishing in Lake Chaubunagungamaug!! ........ you'd never be able to navigate and find your way there or home. You'd end up lost somewhere like Maine forever. Do you know what those people would do to you up there? I won't say but I'll give you a hint. That really disturbing scene during the break they took from their river adventure in that movie..... DELIVERANCE!!! Yikes :-0

    A cop out of his jurisdiction stopped me .after admitting in Court he ran me off road also .I cooperated but was handcuffed. Thrown in jail 84 days for armed robbery . It cost me my wife ,house ,truck,boat, almost ruined my reputation. It Cost me 162,000 and a two 2 year court battle. inmates tried to rape me stole my cloths . Jailer's treated me like shit and cops I could write a novel about the shit they did to me I'm still struggling to pay bills and live it happened in 2008 almost ten years. Anyways in Court 2 girls were robbed of 234.00 bucks by a 6 foot 200 pound white guy with black mask camo long sleeved shirt buttoned to the neck camo pants ,black gloves, brown work boots. And he had brown eyes. I had a camo elk hunting coat in back of truck under lifting bed cover locked up with my hunting gear. I was wearing grey jacket, underarmour tee shirt, black basspro cap blue jeans and Merrell hiking boots,I'm 6 ft 2 245 pounds and the big kicker I have( deep blue eyes) . All 12 jurors found me not guilty and I was aquitted by all 12 of all charges. of robber first degree life sentence, robbery second degree that the prosecutor threw in in case jurors didn't think they could give me life and I was aquitted on armed criminal action 3 to a 1000 year sentence .And to this day( I've never been read my rights) and it took another year to get my guns and camping gear back over 6 thousand dollars worth the cops had taken my guns Home and had to bring some of them back. I was treated like a animal and I had everyone of my Human rights vioated. Everytime I see a cop car I panic . I'll drive miles outta my way pull in drive ways etc. My heart races Everytime I see a cop .. I pack handcuff keys in my belt loop on my pants in front and in back at all times . And in my boots ,shoes . Now I no somewhat how the Jews felt. I will not be taken again .and I have nothing left to loose and everything to gain my freedom, my dignity were taken. I will get them back if even for a few seconds. I will die a free man . Wake up people bad shit happens to law abiding citezens every day.

    What most of you are failing to see is that the cuffs nowadays are the type that have no chain. Can't get a key into it with your hands or your mouth. Step 1 get the cuffs in front of you by sitting through then pulling your hands past your feet. Step 2 find a weapon to use and prepare to fight with your hands still cuffed. Step 3 ready yourself for death, because the ones doing it were going to kill you no matter what happened.

    Good stuff, but the Arizona being kidnapping capital is not actually true. Turns out that Arizona has VERY broad definition of kidnapping, and the Phoenix police were milking it to get additional Federal funding. Stuff like home invasions, armed robberies at convenience stores, car jacking, etc., all counted as 'kidnapping' because people were restrained from leaving through threats of violence. Basically, if every city in America used this definition of kidnapping, any major metropolis would have THOUSANDS of 'kidnappings' every year. In reality, of the over 800 case files that were reported to the congressional review as 'kidnapping', only about 80 involved people being captured and held for ransom/slavery/etc..

    No offense, but handcuff keys are silly. Everyone knows what they look like and they're large enough to be found easily by someone who knows how to frisk you.
    A two inch thin, flat bar, the width of a tension wrench for lock picking but thinner is far superior. Harder to find and easier to use. Shim the handcuff teeth. You can get the same effect from a modified hair pin.

      12jason223 you definitely won't get arrested just for being caught with it. I had a multi-tool I'd forgotten about. They held up my bag and they confronted me about it. They gave me the option of handing it to someone not going through security, abandoning it, or mailing it home.

Once I was wanded and it was zeroed in on my wallet, it finally dawned on me about my multi-tool in my wallet. I was given the option to surrender it or give it to someone. No biggie, definitely wasn't arrested. I'm sure they seen that a few times.

    • @DaveSmith-cp5kj
      @DaveSmith-cp5kj 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Lets be honest, how many crooked cops does anyone really see in the US? Oh sure, they are out there, but most cases it is just the criminals crying wolf about "police brutality". Even then, crooked cops won't target you unless you make yourself a target in some way. If you are captured by the police, the court systems provide a very easy way to protect yourself, in fact too easy as many criminals get off things like drug charges over ridiculous reasons.

    • @kynaston1474
      @kynaston1474 8 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      No, let's get real here. The vast majority are vultures churning money up in a system that is fundamentally corrupt. You want to be honest? The majority are corrupt by default, holding the public ransom at gun point. Don't tell me about corrupt police. I was thrown in jail one weekend naked where they jacked the AC up so high there was ice on my window in July. I survived by ripping my mattress open and sleeping in it and packing the vents with toilet paper I soaked in a nasty ass toilet, for something I didn't do. I'm sure it was just that fucking precinct though, and it will never happen to you. Like I never thought it would... You want honesty, the vast majority are highway robbers holding people at gun point for cash. They never respond to real emergencies, they wait until everybody is dead that's going to be and show up pretending to do stuff. You want honesty? They make their living off ruining the lives of teenagers smoking weed to fill their damn coffers. Now if you don't like that, I don't know what to tell you. Are there good cops out there? Sure there are, but I've seen enough of them to know that they are fucking rare and usually don't keep their jobs long. And don't bitch, because you wanted "be honest". Well there's your damn honesty and all the cognitive dissonance and nice wishes in the world won't change the truth. Oh and those gun rights you so likely value, it will be those cops you so admire that will be at your door to strip you of that constitutional right. And you might say they won't comply, but they have so far...

    • @DaveSmith-cp5kj

      Yeah, and what did they throw you in jail for? Sounds like you are only sore because they came in and ruined your fun but you never actually worked in any LE department. In otherwords, a bunch of bull.
      Im not one of those hopeful oathkeeper guys. I know that most LE and Mil they will take the guns if ordered but frankly it doesn't matter because the citizens will always be armed if the choose to be and not comply with illegal laws.
      The real threat is guys like you, who have no intention of actually fixing the law that you supposedly see corruption but desire to degrade it so no one will stand in your way.

    However, with that said... once those who control the Police (i.e. corrupt politicians, mayors, etc.) use them to break the law and enforce their corruption, then I would say that having knowledge of how to protect yourself is our duty. Besides, many criminals posing as "cops" carry cuffs.

    When my mom was 12 a guy asked where this one person lived and she went to the car and he grabed her shirt and her sister was beside her and the guy pulled her into to the car. My aunt screamed and pulled my mom out of the car. A month later the cops caught the guy and shot him to death and they found his (lair/house) and there was kids and some female and male adults bodies everywhere.True Story

    Would an electro magnetic pulse event affect a compass?

    • @ajammes1
      @ajammes1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Louis King not an expert here but I would think not as a compass uses the earth's magnetic field. An emp if I understand them correctly is electric in nature and grounds kind of like lightening and travels like electricity. Any one who knows more please correct me.

    • @downtroddendave860
      @downtroddendave860 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on your proximity in relation to the strength of the pulse and the dominant energy the pulse was designed to emit. Short answer is that rare earth magnet based compasses would likely detect the event (swing to some degree) but not be adversely effected in the long term.
      The popularized damage caused by EMPs is from the Electromagnetic waves, think very strong radio transmissions, which are converted to AC by differing lengths of metal depending on the frequency of the particular wave. EMPs generate EM waves across a very wide range of frequencies simultaneously which basically turns most wires into antennas ('wires' in this case includes PCB traces and most metal shapes).
      It's more technical than that, must it's an easy to understand comparison. It's not the magnetic portion that is known for causing massive damage to distant items, it's the radiated (as in radio) EM waves.

    • @BlackScoutSurvival
      @BlackScoutSurvival  9 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      US. Yes they happen all the time. In the US in 2014 there were 467,000 missing persons cases filed with NCIC directly related to kidnappings.

      +TheMorbiousStone There's also n estimated 100,000 missing people who are never reported missing in an official manner. They're just gone, and never seen again. Now, it's true no one is looking for them because they have no family who cares, etc., but their social security numbers are never used again, and this is more than just strange.

    • @drmodestoesq
      @drmodestoesq 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Then resisting them is a bad idea. What if they are wrong and the police officer in question should have never been given a badge and a gun? Then resisting is a thousand times worse idea.

    • @black_hawk9638
      @black_hawk9638 8 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I actually don't think resisting the police should be illegal. Rather resisting immediate arrest, should be. In any case, I think putting too much trust and confidence in any authority for no reason beyond that authority is to be condemned.
