- Princess Charlotte steals the show at Sandringham as she hugs a well-wisher following the Christmas Day church service.
The young royals were with the Queen, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at St. Mary Magdalene Church.

Was also thinking of this. I was worried for her at first,t and then she did go over to take the rail, and did well, really! I know she would not want anyone to fuss over her and if she truly needed and wanted the help she would let the person know she needed their arm, am sure. but she tries hard to be so independent. I would have had problems. LOL She has inherited their healthy genes.

Oh, I haven't seen this yet!!!! I love this family!!! It's so beautiful to see William and Catherine taking care of their children as they were exiting the church, and all the way to greeting the public. WOW!!! Little Charlotte just made sure she was right in step with her mom, absolutely precious.

I love how Duchess Catherine stays close to Charlotte and how adorable how she placed her arm along her back to stay close to her. The entire Royal Family is so wonderful.

Kate forced Charlotte to shake hands with the old handicap woman in green and with the handicap boy but she flatly refused. She shaked hands with the priest though but not with the poor ones. She only chosed the people she shake hands with . She has indeed a bad attitude as I always noticed about her. And she did not steal the show because people (particualarly the handicap boy in wheelchair)were not even looking at her. Most of the people who were there were elderly ,most probably fans of the queen. Lesson: Dont exploit the kids just to get attention.
Leyla - Goodness, why being nasty to a kid. It's Christmas and no one is exploiting a kid. Get a grip. This is the child's first time to do a walkabout and meeting people. Do not assume that rejecting a hand shake would equal a bad attitude. She is obviously shy and not accustomed to meeting the crowd. Did you also see her hugging a woman, accepting a gift from someone, and thanking a kid for giving her flowers? Guess not.

Princess Charlotte so adorable ! Also, every time I see her I think she looks very like the Queen in many ways. Speaking of the Queen I admire her greatly and one thing I notice is she always looks immaculate and the colours she wears really suit her. She looks amazing! And she fascinates me.

When the child, not the parent, but the child, reaches for the parent, looks up at them for reassurance, holds their clothing, they are bonded. Kate is hands on and the proof is in her children. This is hard for little ones to go up to all these strangers. When Charlotte saw the plastic bird for her, she really like that, and that woman asked for a hug and got one! but they cut the tape there. Dear little girl just made that woman's day.
