7:05 this is how I feel about my husband, and we celebrated our 11th anniversary in Feb. Congrats, Huzz. Im glad you found that person. Here’s to the many joyful years you have ahead of you
Hey huzz, I want to let you know this title and thumbnail did it’s job. I clicked on the video specifically because it caught my attention without giving away the plot. I watch almost every very video on this channel anyway but this one worked. All the love!
I think they should make Yuumi share 40% of the damage from the person she's on as percentage (The attack deals 10% of the target's HP pre-mitigated, so instead deals 6% of their HP pre-mitigated and then also deals 4% of her HP pre-mitigated) and share 40% of the damage from herself to the person she's on (Same deal: if it hits her for 50% max HP, it hits her for 30% of her max HP pre-mitigated and the person she's attached to will get hit for 20% of their max HP). Any damage that needs to be rounded just hits the original target. As a trade off, she'll be targetable by skill shots and direct attacks like auto's or Veigar R but take half damage from AOE. While she's attached, both she and the target take something like -2,4,6,8,10% damage from all sources except true damage. Things like Knight's vow, Locket of the Iron Solari, or trailblazer will work for her; though Yuumi movement will not be counted as activity to avoid disconnect even if it is counted to charge up trailblazer. Also, trails 'left in her wake' would be centered around her target's feet instead of her own. Suddenly it doesn't matter that she's on the target, because she can still be killed. However... it does mean that she needs to build armor/magic resist items because she can't control how close she is to the enemy while attached to someone like Ezreal jumping in and around the enemy like a rabbit. Especially when there are champions with things like Hurricane and high damage or even percentage damage like a Teemo with Hurricane, Liandry, and BOTRK... being able to damage two targets to kill the ADC faster would be detrimental. But... that could mean we might see healing items meant for tanks but not quite as good on enchanters. Perhaps the HP/armor/magic resist items increase based on Base Hp/armor/magic resist or maybe based on the items stats of items already had (So Yuumi herself would have to build a tank item components first, then go into some tank-healing items before completing those components into actual tank items so her tank-healing items take full defensive effect) or something funky like that. And with healing items meant for tanks we could end up getting some tankier healers. A big chunky healer waddling around sounds great to me. Maybe a giant penguin with a medical bag or just... Maokai's brother/sister/seedbling... the not twisted healing treant. Heck... maybe we could get a dragon that breaths out healing mist or something. Hopefully.. one more impressive than Smolder. Smolder is cute... but not what I thought when we were 'getting another dragon champ'. Admittedly the cuteness goes a long way towards making them acceptable.
She is frustrating if she is even remotely strong. I think something they should play with is having yummi and the person she is on share a hp pool, so they get high hp, but then if you kill them it is a double, and if yummi jumps off when they are low hp, both people are at the %hp the shared pool was at. Big problem would be yummi trolling teammates. She takes damage, jumps on someone who is full hp and they are now not full hp bc of her damage, then she jumps off and is at higher hp herself while they are at lower because the average % was lower than they started.
My opinion on Yuumi is that, when I started playing the game as a support main, she was the perfect pick. It was nice to learn the game bit by bit with less pressure on me. It was especially helpful that sometimes my friend and I would duo bot and she would help with any questions I had, as she has been playing for nearly 7 years and obviously still knows far more than me. Yuumi is somewhat annoying to play against, but I agree that for people with disabilities or people who are starting out in the game, she's maybe the perfect pick.
Hey Huzz! Haven't had time to catch the stream recently but I saw you got engaged man! Congrats! Best wishes to you and queen pleb that's really great to hear man!
Congratulations again to Mr. and Mrs. Huzzy. 🎉 I honestly feel like yuumi should be an item if not then her stats needs to be looked at, because she is relatively tanky with the early health that she gets and her q does a decent amount of damage too. Yuumi's healing is also pretty good in a sense that if the adc gets poked out and just play passive and let Yuumi heal them up, they can out sustain and re-engage for another play. However, another streamer (I forgot their name) did say that Yuumi is the ultimate test for an adc to see if they really are as good of an adc like how someone may claim to be. Since playing with a yuumi, it will all be up to the adc's positioning and timing of when to engage the enemy team. I agree with that statement, but I still highly dislike Yuumi as a champion and would rather have her as a purchasable support item in the game.
in my opinion, i think yuumi was better before her rework. you had more of a reason to jump off to restore your mana and grant the shield, you could heal your allies outside of ulti with the cost of using a bunch of mana, hence making you have to jump off more. her ult just felt better as well, more useful imo. it's what i've stood by since the rework happened, and i don't play her and hate playing adc with a yuumi.
All they have to do is to implement kled´s mechanic onto her...take part of the damage of the person she is bounded and after a certain threshold, she is ejected...
Yuumi is a champ that ruins the game when she is strong and is pointless when she is weak. I think the only solution is to rework her to make her an actual champ and not just an extra buff for other champions.
The concept of Yummi has great potential as a champ mainly for the reason you outlines - but for me, because the support role is too strong right now Yummi is too strong too. If she had no damage but was all about shields it'd feel much fairer to play against her. My 2 cents for the algorithm 😂
Honestly, i feel like yuumi is the champion you would pick if you get autofilled support and you don't know what you're doing. You wont contribute much to the lane but at least you wont int your team. Picking yuumi doesn't help you to learn the support role either but that's not the point, for me its the autofilled support option.
On the Yuumi question, I also wish you could knock her off you or refuse her attaching to you. I’ve had a Yuumi player troll me by forcing me to share xp and be afk. It’d be too easy to abuse to just knock her off, but maybe some way to just not consent to the Yuumi W
I believe that Yumi was a mistake. I think that Yumi should always absorb a certain % of the damage to the person she is on. This way she would be forced to detach at very low levels of health...... or die.
Honestly…I don’t think that Yuumi is that bad of a champ. As you say Huzz, there has to be champions that are just easier to play. I understand how you can stretch that a bit more to include Yuumi. But the contradictions that Riot has done involving Yuumi shows me that they have no idea what to do with the champ and that is why she has been stupid broken OP. Very similar to a Master Yi is something. Having said that….i the most broken thing in the game is the ability to become untargetable for almost the entire game by hoping on someone else. If there was a way to knock Yuumi off as you said Huzz, that would be great! My idea was that when the mount of Yuumi gets hit with hard CC, Yuumi would get knocked off but neither would be CC’d. And the ability for Yuumi would be on a long cooldown so she can’t just hop right back on again
I'm an ADC Main, so I've always hated Yuumi. I believe that the Champion is one of the worst demonstrations of skill gating in LoL, where you can LITERALLY be ten times the player as, "your," Yuumi Support, only to get outclimbed because of the nature of her kit. I'm glad that she's been long-since gutted, as I started LoL when it was Garen+Yuumi BOT and she gave Adaptive Force. I will never forgive getting abandoned because she, "suffered through," 1-6 as an XParasite, only to hop on Kayn/Evelynn/Rengar/Katarina/Talon and they would 2v5 through Midgame.
Vis a vis the job interview, I will miss you a ton if you leave content creation - but you have to take care of your family first, especially if you are planning for kids. Do what you need to do, Huzz, and know that you were a brilliant content creator.
I feel that she should not be in the game, but RIot will not delete her or admit that they goofed when they made her. That said, I feel that she needs a rework to make her viable without making her oppressive.

I just want to say, I really appreciate the thought you've put into this. I'd be interested in seeing a world where yuumi is built like this.
@@CleaveBuscemi aww :) Thanks.
Lmao, i died at the "Yeah yeah, get the gold one"

Un-targetable abilities should be few and far between. A whole champ, Yuumi, that revolves around such an ability should not exist.
I believe that Yumi was a mistake. I think that Yumi should always absorb a certain % of the damage to the person she is on. This way she would be forced to detach at very low levels of health...... or die.

Honestly worst idea coming up with the champion design of Yuumi. Never played her before and never will.....
