Jenkins and Braxton Jones will be units for years to come tho. The rest of the Oline needs to be Stripped and replaced. I really think they should draft that Ohio state Wr Njumba so they can add another layer/ great Route runner for Fields to throw to. You can get that Higgins Chase combo going.

This trade is perfect for the Bears. It gives them a #1 wr and more picks to build the roster and gives Fields 1 more chance to prove himself and if it doesn’t work out they will have 2 very high picks next year to draft a QB

This is the best thing the bears could do
The thing is if the bears did what skip wants and got the QB quests what we would still suck cause you have to build around the QB and right now bears have no online or anything. This helps building around the team. Fields is actually a good QB and this truly helps

Unless the Bears trade up in the draft for someone, or do any business for restricted free agents, they have two 1st round picks in 2024. If Fields is not capable, as Skip suggests, they'll be in a position to pick a new QB then. Personally I think it's right that Ryan Poles, the front office and the fans show some confidence in Fields, and give him the fair chance he deserves.
