Would you use the pmc 6 in this room if you had another pair? If you prefer ATCs, why? I think a comparison video of these two brands would be cool....
i use pro tools and i have hardware , i use all correct in and out i can use my hardware just fine but when i add more then one hardware on one track i get the red delay compensation , would you know why, I've done the math and added the delay combination in IO setup, but when i add my 1176 and my Pultec on main vocal my master print track turns red with delay compensation ??? any suggestions
@@nicknolin ok, so for me personally doing multiple hardware inserts on one track is a no go. Converters are evil and you want to avoid them as much as possible. Once youre out into the analog world, do what you gotta do and get back into your daw, don’t go out again unless its your mixbus. That’s how i see it, maybe others disagree
Hey man, awesome vid. I'm actually just about to buy one of these which has been moded a similar way. Curious, howd you end up with 24 ins? Mines going to have 16 operating off the 8 main and 8 monitoring set up to be switchable between the main channels eq and dynamics. Is that something similar to what you've got going on? Also! Keen as for a video of you mixing on this. Are you going to be making one soon? whats your workflow going to be like for larger sessions? Printing sections? Thanks mate!
It’s a great piece! Gets pretty close to the real deal. The meter flickers a little, which some people find distracting. Not really an issue for me tho

Are you doing more than one hardware insert on a single track?

@@thomasvopstal I use two IO inserts on lead vocals and one on mix bus

how is the audioscape Retro ?? compares well to the real Retro?

@@thomasvopstal cool. will check it out, i have the real Retro STA

Yes i am! Mixing and stem mastering. Best to DM on instagram @thomasvopstal
You cant sum with that SSL right?
You definitely can! That’s how i’ve got it set up right now
i've just built a desk with 30 + U. i can send the sketchup file if anybody wants it
damn, that's crazy! i'm sure there's plenty of people that'd love to see what you made!
yeah ! I'll show some pics on the discord
I always thought the biggest benefit of being a mixing engineer is that you *don’t* have to travel haha
Step 1 get an SSL CONSOLE
*no money*
Step 2
*crying in the corner*
Step 3, use the heartbreak to make an amazing song that makes you rich step 4, buy an ssl console. Problem fixed😁
