You give me the confidence to buy one too. The addition of the air makes me a little nervous because I don't have your "tinkering" talent LOL! I always enjoy your videos, you are so easy to follow and I appreciate the transparency. I often refer others to your channel because you do an amazing job with teaching. I would LOVE more laser videos. I want to try to sell acrylic business cards.
At my previous workplace, we used a glowforge. It's ok, really user-friendly, but has to be on the internet 24/7, which is a big no-go for me. I decided to pick up the k40+, I can't wait for it to come in.
@1922project I've worked with a glowforge at my old job, having to have it on the internet 24/7, the subscription for extra little things, and the price was a big no for me. Can't wait to get it set up. I've wishlisted a lot of blanks, lol.
Love your tutorials and zest for trying everything crafty. You're inspiring. Make sure you have a fire extinguisher nearby by, within view. Do a few practice drills using it. As they say, fire happens! 😊
Mine we're not. My K40 machine's ventilation system is not sufficient on cutting materials and produce a lot of fumes or smoke, which can affect both the quality of the cuts and the air quality in your workspace. While the price point is appealing, I founnd that I end up spending more money on upgrades and modifications to achieve the performance I initially expected from the K40.

If you get one air assist is a must for all the reasons she states it's not hard to fit, If you cut Acrylic use cast not extruded as it cuts better

You’re going to love it!! That’s the exact reason I didn’t want a glowforge! Well…that and the price 😳

Hello Paula, I hope my comment wasn't taken as a form of invasion of your comments privacy. I'm here to make friends, how are you? Where are you from?
Hi Kelly! Hope things are ok with you and your new machine! Miss seeing your videos. Hopefully you’re just enjoying summer break with your family!
Awe! Thanks so much! I feel like I've run out of things to say. Ha!! Hoping to get back to it soon!

Lucky girl. I would love to get a laser to add to my shop, but hubby says not yet.
love the new laser!! I am addicted to mine and you will be too! I have a 10Watt diode laser but still its awesome!!
I brought one absolutely love it following for tips
Congrats on the new laser!
I know you say it is slow, but my diode would take an hour or so to engrave and cut 8 of thos.
Do you still like the laser? I am trying to decide between this laser and a low priced XTool laser.
Absolutely LOVE it!
Thanks!!
Congratulations! I’m going to guess that the K40 stands for Kilowatt 40.
Nope the 40 is 40 watts, 40000 watts would be extreme. I think the K stands for 1000dpi rating for these machines.
Hi Kelly
I hope you are ok, I haven't see anything from you for a while and I was just worried about you. I hope everything is ok. Regards christine
You are so stinking sweet! All good here I just haven’t had anything to say 😂😂
